Very small room, tiny bin for 4 people. Not worth the 510 per night for the 4 of us (310 for 2 people to stay). Fridge provided is literally full of mini bar items which had to be kept inside the mini bar so we wouldn't be charged for consuming so our bottles of water etc had to be kept in our cooler bag with a bag of ice. Parking is secure via boomgate and patrolled with cameras, but also attracts an additional charge per vehicle. Buffet breakfast was really good downstairs in the restaurant, worth the 35 dollar charge per person if you can fit in enough food.

Special Review to a Stay booked in emergency circumstances- I very recently booked 2 nights the day before check in due to having to stay with my 2 very small kids in Brisbane due to my wife being urgently rushed to Brisbane Royal for a major emergency surgery. The whole team went above and beyond- kind and generous empathetic care every step of the way. My room was upgraded to help my kids, the hotel warmed home made food for my kids, helped facilitate the very late check in of a family member who flew internationally to support me and many other things. I have stayed in countless hotels across the globe and just the consistency in team service and wanting to actually help stood out. The hotel manager should be proud of his team. Special shoutout to (sorry forgot your names) the Paraguayan gentleman and also short spiky hair with glasses guy. You made a traumatic time much much easier and for that I thank you.

We went to a comedy dinner show at Rydges Fortitude Valley and the show was great. But everyone complained about the standard of the food. The first course was a cold pumpkin soup, tasted ok but everyone’s was cold. Main was barely warm chicken breast with no flavour with broccoli and potatoes which were so bland. There was no flavour to the main meal, everyone was commenting on how below average the food was. Desert was a pavlova and that was nice. I would recommend that you don’t have an event here as everyone will be disappointed with the food. The hotel needs to re look at how they do food for events. I hope they make an effort to get better.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From the moment we arrived, the service was next-level and that’s all thanks to Tyra. She was an absolute standout! Friendly, professional, and genuinely caring, Tyra went above and beyond to make our stay effortless and enjoyable. Nothing was ever too much trouble every interaction was warm and authentic, and she made us feel like valued guests, not just another booking. In a world where great service can be hit or miss, Tyra was the gold standard. She turned a lovely stay into a truly exceptional experience. The hotel should be proud to have someone of her calibre she’s a credit to the team! We’ll absolutely be back and we’ll be asking for Tyra

Staying at Rydges Fortitude Valley after a flight delay caused me to miss a connection back to Vancouver. What a lovely hotel and the service has been over the top amazing! Every staff member I have encountered has been lovely. And I want to give a special mention to Aaliah who was the Guest Services Agent who checked me in. She was so kind and helpful, going the extra mile when she realized the multiple ordeals I had encountered on this trip (many flight delays, lost luggage multiple times). My faith in customer service has been restored! Thank you Rydges.
