Quite disappointed in our stay. Certainly wouldn't say 4⭐️. Cheap $10.00 Kmart fans in the suite. Portable cooling system installed on the floor with exhaust leading out the window. It was very noisy all night. Buffet breakfast was appaulling. Very little to choose from, food quality was uneatable. We left and went to a cafe across the road. Parking was ridiculous. We won't be hurrying back.

I stayed here years ago and it was fine. This time around, it was simply putrid. The dust in parts of the room was so thick it looked like dirty snow between the side tables and wall near the bed. The sofa is stinky and stained, and the carpet smell was terribly disguised by freshener so the windows must stay open. The worst however… As I was showering (over the spa bath repaired with tape) I noticed blood on the floor caught in the cracks of the tiles around the entry. I took a breath and tried to ignore it. I didn’t have the energy and it was getting late. As I looked around the room I saw more blood smears on the walls behind the door and along the wall alongside thick black mould around the door hinges. If I wasn’t on my own with my 3 young children who at that point were already asleep in the bed I would left and slept in the car. I won’t bother with the baby cot story, I took one look and gagged. I threw it in the wardrobe and washed my hands after touching it. Greasy. Covered in dust. Nope. What the hell happened to this place? WHO is running it? Outdated doesn’t cut it. I have stay at outdated places that still offer a clean and sanitary stay. I calmly asked the front desk as I checked out if there was an accident in the bathroom of my room 301 due to the blood smears and he basically ignored me and said “not that I know of” and continued on processing my checkout like it was a normal question. Gross. I didn’t have the energy or will to make a scene. I didn’t sleep and my kids were with me. So sad I want to support a local business not tear it down but wow. Horrific. The kids did enjoy the pool and view and the bed was comfortable and the bedsheets were clean (not the blanket between - had to rip that off).

Room 403 I asked for a single king and I received two single beds put together. I had an incredibly uncomfortable sleep with a hump you n the middle. The pillows were not to standard as they were quite low and also uncomfortable. A sorry is not enough. I’m don’t recommend this overnight stay. I hope others have had a better experience. No room service. No food available. Fridge was empty. No parking.

This hotel is a hidden gem. After reading all the adverse comments, I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived there. The room was comfortable and clean with a great view of the Pittwater. Buffet breakfast was very nice, which also had a great view. Parking is not so good but I easily found good parking in the street.

We had 2 nights booked here based on the pictures of the hotel - clearly should have read reviews. This hotel is past a refurb. It needs to be pulled down and started again. The room had a strong smell of mould and it was very visible in the bathroom and the main room on ceilings and windows. Water seeps out of shower making floor slippery. Parking was very tight and impossible if you had a large car. On a positive note the receptionist on checkin was lovely and very accommodating. The room was clean so housekeeping should be praised. Public areas were not as clean. We took one look at the pool and opted to stay out. The rat bait station on the table by the pool was not a good look either. We checked out on the 5th March and I was shocked to see that I still had $100 preauth still pending on my account today. 9 days later. We would not recommend or stay at this hotel again.
