The villas were beautifully appointed. We stayed at the golf villa which gave us a beautiful view of the golf course. The overall property is beautifully maintained. Food there is delicious and very good quality. The staff looked after us well. Overall, we had a great first time experience at Bangalay Villas and will definitely consider going back.

A fabulous stay in delightful location right on beach and golf club. Excellent food both breakfasts and evening meals. Small problem with slow service … review menu in advance ( food and wine ) and be ready to order as soon as you are seated ! Wonderful welcome antipasto platter plus a bottle of wine, and delicious Portuguese tarts for our homeward journey on last morning. We will return as an added bonus there are so many interesting places nearby in our beautiful south coast.

Visiting from the UK my daughter took me to her local restaurant Bangalay for breakfast, coffees and lunch and I just have to say what a lovely relaxing place. Big thank you to Paul and his team, who are so accommodating and pleasant and big shout out to the chef for delicious food. I will be back.

This destination will exceed your expectations! The rooms were lovely, light filled and spacious. The service we received from the moment of arrival with Ruby to the time of departure with Amanda was beyond the level of any other place I’ve stayed. There was a slight problem due to the heating not working in the pool at the time, however their level of professionalism and care around it was unbelievable. They definitely hold their guests with the utmost respect and made sure that we felt heard and validated. They were extremely generous in their efforts, making sure we didn’t leave feeling disappointed. Special thanks to Amanda for all that she provided! The dining experience was lovely. Jacquie was incredible, and went above to make sure that we had an enjoyable time. Bonus, she’s great with bubbas! Dinner and breakfast were delicious and they modified what they could to meet my intolerances. The overall ambiance in the restaurant was sleek, romantic. We enjoyed a couples yoga session in our villa, our teacher Gloria was honestly glorious! She was so in tune with us and what we needed from the session. We didn’t feel that she was delivering a cookie cutter program, that she’d just done earlier that day, rather it was unique to us! She was so gentle and you can tell she just really loves what she does. I was then treated to a massage with Summer, who was so focused on making sure I just relaxed, let go of the stress and allowed myself to receive and she really provided that space! I cannot fault our stay. The team at Bangalay are really doing their best to create something that’s not provided anywhere else and you do feel that energy. Thank you for such a comfortable break away. No doubt we will be back!

Really well kept relaxing luxury resort stay not far from sydney. There is a nice pool and some nice touches such as the welcome cocktail and pack. The 2 girls at reception were very lovely and friendly. It is a 4 star, but given the price point is same if not more than most 5 star resorts, have come to expect all final touches to be top quality, so things such as the teabags included if wasn't twining supermaket brand, but something from a tea store, a shower cap in the bathroom, and maybe a water filter tap in the kitchen, and different types of pillows including a flatter memory foam one, would have rounded up the experience to an almost perfect stay.
