Stayed here for 3 nights. You are surrounded by nature and can only hear birds and the sound of rain. The food was great. Wine tasting was great. Rooms were spacious and clean. The beds were comfy. The bathroom was nice and spacious. Staff were very friendly. The only area for improvement is the seats in the meeting rooms. They were hard and not suitable for all day sitting. All in all, a high standard, relaxing, and beautiful resort.

It’s old, it’s tired and it’s dirty and to make matters worse, no one cares. You’re met at reception with staff trying to talk you out of room service in exchange for a $10 bar tab. Stay 5 days and you quickly understand why, one day you get room service the next they don’t turn up, they deliver fresh towels one day and none the next, make the bed then don’t do it. After a week there I have no idea what room service is. The room is dirty, there was a hole in the wall about fist size that had been plastered up but not painted, the grout in the shower was all black, door handles replace with smaller one and the marks from the older still there and the cabinet the TV is in is all wrong and blocked the remote working. In the main building area the pebble concrete is black with lichen that needed pressure cleaning years ago and if you look up when it’s raining the gutters have rusted holes through them from not being cleaned and water pours out into the main entrance. The food, oh I wish Gordon Ramsay would drop by. When they don’t offer a half-n-half pizza you know it’s coming from a packet and what arrives is a gluggy mess under cooked dripping with oily supermarket cheese. The food is bland and just ‘pub’ food done badly so don’t plan any romantic dinners. The staff, oh well let’s keep going, they are young, many seem backpacker types, French and they like their own company way more than the annoying customers they look after. Great golf course, just terrible surroundings.

Location is great for wineries and other food attractions. Resort looks good if your into golfing (didn't try it) and seen kangaroos hopping around the place. Had evening meal in the bistro but would give it 5 out if 10, would not try again. All tables are clean but I think nowadays since Covid they spray a disinfectant that leaves a sticky surface, some soapy water would be good once in a while. Buffet breakfast was good though, can't fault that one. Stayed 2 nights for a family 4 adults in 2 bedroom villa No. 538. My opinion is the villa needs little attention around windows and blinds and replace the pillows. Had experience of having last guests dirty sheets balled up in the wardrobe and some of their open food in kitchen cupboard. Cleaners apparently missed those. Other than that place was fine, had everything in the kitchen you need, it had a clothes tumble dryer but no washing machine, which was odd. Good TV and streaming channels downstairs and TVs in both bedrooms also. No fans in any room so need aircon on all night, which was bit old and loud. Overall it was OK for 2 nights, I think but overpriced compared to other places have stayed recently, so would stay elsewhere next time in Hunter.

Well located to visit wineries and comfortable accommodation. We stayed in a premium 2 bedroom villa and air conditioned and comfy beds. On arrival, there was a crisp under the sofa with some bugs and no WiFi connection / Netflix connection (my family had stayed a couple of weeks prior in a 3 bedroom villa and had also had the WiFi issue). Rung reception who brought a wifi booster up but were unable to sort the tv and advised option of connecting our own hdmi cable (we not brought one as did not know). They also said we had to return the booster or be subject to a $300 penalty. Weather wasn’t great and we were travelling with a baby so it would’ve been useful to know WiFi / tv limitations beforehand. Pool area had nice views but music blaring out which didn’t make it too relaxing. Well situated for golf but not as good as pictures and not all services as advertised.

Very old and tired. The balcony was dirty and the old chairs and table were falling apart. I complained and all they said it was up to owner to replace the outdoor table and chairs. I paid alot of money for a Premium room and was very disappointed and dissatisfied. I would not recommend this property.
