What a fabulous place to enjoy a relaxing few days away from it all! Everything you could want or need is within walking distance, with a great selection of recreational options and restaurants within the resort area, and plenty of great places to explore in the surrounding areas just a short drive away. Noting that our stay was to celebrate my sister's birthday at the time of booking, it was a beautiful surprise to have been upgraded to a spa suite by the wonderful staff, who were absolutely delightful to deal with. Thank you to all at Mantra on Salt Beach, we had a great time and will definitely be back!

We had a lovely holiday at Mantra Salt. Pool is just fabulous and our 1 bedroom unit was very clean, roomy and comfortable. Staff were very helpful. Beds could be a little softer and overall the hotel was in need of some good maintenance/refreshing in many areas as it was a bit shabby for the price. No air con in the bedroom might be an issue mid summer but was fine for April. However all this didn't detract from our enjoyment. We'd visit again but only if we could find a sale on room prices

I requested twin share after booking & called hotel reception the night before arrival to confirm this but after we checked in & found a king bed is set up in the room. Beds are saggy, after they sorted out twin share for us & there's no blanket at all & we have to do it ourselves. There's no table & chairs inside the room. We need to get them from balcony. When using toilets within hotel public area, I encountered 2 toilet cubical doors can't be close, someone after me has to hold the door for me to use the toilet. I encountered another one can't be flushed and another one basin tap were missing.

The sliding shutters were broken to the balcony and looks to have been for a while. There was a stale smell of cigarettes. The carpet is stained. The door to the fridge cabinet has obviously suffered water damage. The shutters offer zero blackout for the morning sun. The spa was insanely chlorinated. The GPO locations were confusing. The bed was comfy, and staff were accommodating though. There was a fire alarm event in the early morning which went on for a while. No explanation was offered, or any reassurance. We had to sit on the balcony for 15-20 minutes in the middle of the night to escape the loudness. Although we were aware it was a simple room and the cost of the booking wasn't extravagant, we did expect things to be looked after. Perhaps we didn't properly take advantage of other resort services. It left us feeling very "meh." I'd expect more for less from a Holiday park cabin. If we stay in the area again, we'll likely explore that. I can't say we'd make any recommendations for the space.

My wife and family were having a great time but then my wife had her wedding ring stolen from the pool side. The manager on site was not helpful at all, if anything was disinterested and told us the cameras by the pool were not working and there was nothing that could be done. There was only a few people at the pool at the time this happened which we told the manager. My wife said she could identify them but we weren't provided any extra support. Very disappointed.
