Reviews for Abbey Boutique Hotel

What a charming and beautiful hotel! Love how there is history with every room and the owners provide little education posters at each door. Service was excellent and friendly. Felt like a home away from home. They even make their own gorgeous honey which is available to purchase. Great location! And to top it off, chickens and sweet house cat Basil!

The Abbey was superb! The building is amazing and beautiful. The greeting at the front door by the very chatty Bazil was the beginning of a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. The staff were great and super friendly! The hot breaky was perfect and I would give it a 5/5.

Such a beautiful place run by the best people. Needed a weekend away from the noise and stress of Brisbane or the Gold Coast and found it here. While the building is historical, the rooms are not - very modern with everything you need. Food is amazing, no beyond amazing. Pack a book, and an extra stomach then get here to enjoy bliss.

My Spanish husband and 21 year old son and overseas visitor went to the Abbey for the TAPAS lunch. Although the waitress and the garden surrounds were lovely, I just wanted to say that the food was not traditional tapas but more like Asian/Australian fusion. Very expensive for the quality. The very, very small mocktail of the day was $12.00 which was full of sprinkled dry mint which should be fresh for that sort of price. We were disappointed not to take our guests into the ground floor of the Abbey as guests might be disturbed but could pay an extra $10 each for the privilege. My sister became locked in the toilet through no fault of her own and the apologies were very scant. Beautiful building but very expensive overall. I never, ever leave reviews but felt I had to today.

Only went for a tour of the grounds and bottom floor. Heard about some of the history. Absolutely beautiful place 🤩. Would be perfect for a wedding or to celebrate a special occasion. Has a Chapel, dining room and accommodation. They also do regular dinners, high teas etc.
