Stayed two nights while attending an event at Morgan Park Raceway. Hosts were very congenial and nothing was too much trouble. Even a late night cheese platter was provided on short notice. Was very generously portioned. Looking forward to staying again in October. May try another place purely for experience but wouldn’t hesitate staying here again.

A beautiful place for a special anniversary celebration. Everything was perfect only suggestion would be to upgrade the mattress in our room a bit hard for us. Very quiet and relaxing we love the history of the place too! Very nice chickens, bee 🐝 hive and classic piece of history.

The Abbey was superb! The building is amazing and beautiful. The greeting at the front door by the very chatty Bazil was the beginning of a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. The staff were great and super friendly! The hot breaky was perfect and I would give it a 5/5.

Beautiful quiet place to stay gorgeously decorated with antiques from yesteryear. Very photographic building and gardens and lovely breakfast and dinners available.

What a charming and beautiful hotel! Love how there is history with every room and the owners provide little education posters at each door. Service was excellent and friendly. Felt like a home away from home. They even make their own gorgeous honey which is available to purchase. Great location! And to top it off, chickens and sweet house cat Basil!
