We recently enjoyed 2 nights in room 608, we found the room to be very comfortable, the bed and pillows luxe. The view of the river is really beautiful with lots of activity. Breakfast was delicious. The spa is fabulous, though it has river views you can't see them while bathing. We enjoyed a High Tea it was very generous and nicely presented. A special effort was made to concoct a special cocktail that I had requested so we appreciated the effort. All in all a lovely stay and can recommend this Hotel.

Absolutely beautiful. However, room attendant accused us of smoking in rooms. Room smelt "musty" when first arrived and with no way to open it up to air it out. I'm guessing the smell was from previous visitors. Front desk staff was lovely and so was the bar man.

4.5 stars. Accidentally booked Saturday night instead of Friday night and only realised at 12pm on Friday... front desk staff was so lovely and they were able to swap my night no problem! The room was great, air con and shower were fantastic. Furniture a bit dusty and couch looked weathered but overall a clean room. We had room service and the menu to choose from was awesome, food was delivered hot and fast. Only downer was croquettes were still on menu but apparently they hadn’t served them in months. Pool looked amazing but we didn’t get a chance to use it. Loved the design and theme in the hotel, would stay here again.

Very nice space for a low key getaway to Brisbane, easy walk to cafes, along the river, Breakfast Creek tavern etc but the facilities at the View hotel were lovely enough to not have to leave at all! We really enjoyed our stay!

The staff were really friendly and polite. Our room was the Riverview spa suite, it had beautiful views and the bathroom had ample room to sit and enjoy the spa with a glass of wine. The breakfast in morning had a large selection of hot and cold and sweets just about every breakfast item there is. The pool area was lovely, unfortunately the weather was not suitable for a swim.
