The Long Bar & Verandah on the exterior of the Souths Leagues Club offers a spacious and versatile entertainment area that is ideal for casual gatherings and events. 

With the option to book it alone or combine it with our Legends and Locker Room venues, you can create a tailored experience that suits your needs. 

With warm festoon lighting, this venue creates a comfortable, ambient and welcoming atmosphere for all. The Long Bar & Verandah can accommodate up to 150 people in a cocktail format.

The Long Bar + Verandah

Great spot to catch the Magpies at home. The food is of a good standard. The playing field is in great condition and parking usually not an issue (football games). Located just off Montague road it's short ferry ride from the city or walk from west end.

Nice venue to host talks /presentations. Very clean and sophisticated. A bar and amenities within the function room. The surrounds can get very dark especially where the cars are parked.

Annika and the team at South’s do an amazing job day in and day out. Thanks for making my function so memorable!

Nice venue but service of food for our catered event was extremely slow and disappointing.
