I absolutely adore this restaurant in Melbourne! 😍 It's become one of my all-time favorites, and I've had the pleasure of dining here multiple times. The food is simply outstanding, my favourites are their Spicy Mussel Pot and Pork Knuckle being absolute standouts. But don't let that limit your choices, because every dish I've tried here has been delicious! 😋 What truly sets this place apart is the exceptional service provided by the super friendly waitstaff. They go above and beyond to ensure that every customer has a fantastic dining experience. Even if you're not a big beer enthusiast, like me, you'll be pleasantly surprised by their unique beer taste and selection. Plus, the presentation with those special glasses adds an extra touch of charm to the whole experience! (I love the Rodenbach♥️) In my book, this restaurant is a must-visit when you're in Melbourne. Whether you're a local or a visitor, you won't be disappointed. It's a culinary gem that I wholeheartedly recommend! 🍽️🍻👌

Visited for dinner on a Friday night, they were super busy with lots of group bookings for the Christmas season! Service was still very good, all the staff were super helpful and friendly. We ordered the cheesy garlic bread, a pot of mussels, fries and the pork knuckle for a table of three. The bread came out quickly but we were advised there was a wait for the pork knuckle. It was taking a little longer than expected and the staff took it upon themselves to bring out some complimentary cheese croquettes and apologise for the delay, as they had experienced some issues with the oven. The food eventually arrived and it was all very good, portions were huge and there was more than enough for all of us! Overall a really good experience and probably not representative of an ordinary night, I'm sure if the oven was working as normal the meals would have come out far quicker. Would definitely recommend and be happy to return.

We ordered the wiener schnitzel and steak sandwich. Unfortunately, the steak had an off-putting smell of beef fat, which was unappetizing. The veal schnitzel was also a bit tough to cut with a knife, suggesting it could benefit from further cooking. Also, the coleslaw salad on the side was overly salty. On the positive side, the service was excellent.

Arrived 8:45PM on Saturday and we were seated outside. The waitress said she'd being out menus but after 10 minutes of watching her chat with the bar staff we decided to just use the QR code on the bench. Later someone came to clear the table next to us and came back with some water for our table. Eventually our order arrived with the most pathetic 'garlic bread' we've ever seen. Chimay was beautiful as usual, but then it comes out of a bottle so it's hard to mess that up. $60 for 2 drinks and garlic bread and it's not difficult to see why it's half empty on a warm Saturday night. If you're in Perth give that one a go, it's in a different league to this branch.
