Amazing Birthday dinner. The highlight was not only the food but the staff. The cooks got the food out incredibly fast and the waitress checked up on us (not too pushy asking constantly and just enough so we felt like we could ask for anything anytime). Will definitely return.

Gaylords have an amazing ambiance and fantastic decor. The service is great and we got served by Anmol and Mehak who were both friendly and quick in responding to our requests. So why 3-stars? Well, the authenticity, prep, aroma and presentation do not match the vibe of this restaurant. Since we ordered many dishes, I found them a hit and miss. Some were good, some weren't as good. Unfortunately, none of them were great. You know, the moments when you say, "wow! This is the best food ever!". You miss those moments. The goat curry was more bones than meat. And the meat seemed undercooked. Daal was bland. The 'tadka' was weak, and daal needed a little more salt. Note that i can't eat very spicy food. So me finding it weak matters. Veg dum biryani was good. Well cooked and well presented. Naan was okay. Overall, I want really impressed. Or maybe I had high hopes.

This area is good. Nice ambience. Dishes are authentic Indian but adjusts with less spice. So , local Australians and citizens from other countries can also have it without worries. But for us, the waiting time was high. It took slightly over 30 minutes after placing the order.

ššš¼ As quirky as the name is, the food is anything but. I've always wanted to try this place, and I finally found the opportunity to see for myself if this place was worth it. I'm happy to say that it was. šš¶ I and my friend ordered the Veg Dum Biryani (Basmati rice casserole, flavoured with spices, saffron and rose water served with raita, $21 per plate) for takeaway. From the outside it looked just like any other vegetable biryani but when I dug into it, I could immediately taste the difference, and the superiority of this one over others. It was delicious, spicy and full of veggies, which ticked off all my boxes. It wasn't very oily, which was a plus. The raita was fine, I've had much better ones (make one better myself), but overall I was very satisfied with the food. šš The restaurant looked a bit traditional from the outside but inside was a different story. With lavish red decor, coziness was oozing from this place, and although we had a takeaway, I'd very much like to dine here. The staff seemed alright to me. This restaurant was a good find!

The interior decoration is majestically renovated, & their authentic Indian dishes taste yummy enough. Dining in here with such decor & ambience is always a joy in absolute indulgence.
