Good food with Stunning views. My go to food was the lamb lion. Staff was friendly and ambience was good. Venue is spacious, even though with lot of customers didn't feel like we were cramped into our table.

Food was really good. I enjoyed the sliced beef, it was medium rare. There was no other beer that I like, since they don't sell corona, I opted to get Jameson instead.

Don’t know what went on tonight 16/3 but it was terrible. The once ‘go to’ restaurant on Southbank for a good meal at a reasonable price put in a shocker Admittedly we haven’t been for 18 months Totally under staffed. 1 hour for a bowl of chips for the kids, 95mins for the mains that were average at best. The Bruschetta was an absolute disgrace and uneatable Refer photos below, The one on the left is Bruschetta, the other is what they dished That’s not a Bruschetta’s bottom.Hope this was just a bad night but don’t think I’ll be back to find out!!!

Came to catch up with some interstate friends that were staying nearby, and we wanted to go somewhere that we knew was delicious and reliable. Bluetrain is both of those things consistently! Since we were there on a Tuesday we were able to take advantage of the lunch special they had on, and oh my what a deal! Burger, chips, and a soft drink or their house beer for $22 if you're there on a Tue/Wed between 12pm and 3pm is an absolute banging deal. What a delicious burger it was too, excellent size, crunchy chips, juicy and delicious! If you're in Southbank and are after an epic deal and good feed, Bluetrain is the place to go.

Had a really enjoyable food experience. 4 of us had different meals .. I had lamb loin was really amazing. Others really enjoyed their pastas, the only let down was the parma which was described as average. The staff were lovely, really responsive and friendly can’t complain about any of that. The atmosphere was ok, I suspect it would have been noisy on any other day.. Will definitely head back for a meal again, and take my time, we had to rush for theatre show…
