A beautiful, versatile space in the heart of St Kilda. George Lane is located in the iconic George Hotel Building on St Kilda’s Fitzroy St. The heritage building has stood since 1857 from which it has housed many uses and influential personalities. Its ornate external and internal features provide an image of the suburbs early development and significance to the evolving architecture since the mid 1800’s. Our space is available for private and corporate events and showcases an eclectic bohemian St Kilda aesthetic.

Groovy, intimate live music venue. Choice of listening, eating, drinking on comfy sofas, stools / chairs at tables. Staff are very friendly and know their beers.

Great little band venue. The toilets are outside with little cover in wet weather and water all over the floor. But, on fine evenings, one of the best venues in Melbourne.

Great intermit music venue and bar. They offer a wide selection of bands several times a week. Getting a drink is a challenge, though. Small bar area, so be prepared to wait.
