Although a little remote, Panorama’s staff and service are impeccable. I stayed in the Cottage which was great except for the horrible, lumpy mattress - I think it was an old futon and we all know about futons… The blinds could do with replacing that’s for sure and maybe some curtains installed to keep in the warmth. It dropped to 10 degrees in the cottage - colder than outside. There were blankets though. No coffee plunger for those who love their coffee first thing. Lovely, fresh continental brekkie in the dining room and there’s a cool cafe just up the road for those who want a more satisfying hot breakfast. Beautiful gardens and perfect as a conference centre.

Panorama Retreat is nestled away in the mountains. It's in a quiet and beautiful area with trees all around you. The room I booked was small but perfect for an overnight stay. The breakfast catered for our needs and was served by a delightful young person with a beautiful smile but I forgot to get her name! SORRY!! Justine the office manager was so hospitable and we could have chatted to her all day. Justine went out of her way for us and it hasn't gone unnoticed! Thank you!

We got a standard king room. Most affordable in the area. It was two king singles pushed together, but we knew this from the photos. The blinds were roller blinds, so either blackout or open. The bathroom was a narrow en suite style, less than 1m wide. But we are not big people. The shower head didn't look like a good height for someone tall. We had to walk a bit of a way from the carpark to the room. The staff were spot on. Couldn't fault them. Above and beyond. Opened our byo drinks at no cost, and even gave glasses and ice. Reception was friendly and welcoming. The pillows were thin. The mattress wasn't great quality. The walls, as per other reviews, were paper thin. You could easily hear a conversation of people walking down the hall. Or the other bathroom. But if people are considerate it was fine. We spotted wild rabbits and Rosellas up close on the premises. Wonderful!

Lovely quiet location with good facilities. Clean and comfortable rooms with delicious buffet breakfast with many choices. Quite a few stairs to get around internally. Grounds have beautiful established gardens.

poor security system . anyone can enter the hotel anytime. The area is not safe lots of crime issues going on by knowing all these the hotel management keep the door open for anyone to come in at any time and disturb the guests . That's very disappointing. We had the horrible experience ever , we saw some outsiders hanging inside the hotel communal breakfast area at night when they saw us they screamed and start threatening us . I can't believe it , we didn't say a word to them due to our own safety. but the situation was escalating luckily they ran away afterwards. The whole night we couldn't sleep , we booked the hotel for 2 days and wanted to stay further but after that issue it's a big NO . Immediately we called after hours admin and described what happened with us.
