Chapel at Melbourne City Conference Centre

The Chapel is one of Victoria’s most notable heritage buildings. Enter the Chapel for your special event and be swept back 140 years to an era of charm and splendor. Built-in 1863, the building is often seen as one of the choicest examples of ecclesiastical Gothic architecture in the city. Replete with early architectural flourishes and features, since the removal of the pews, the Chapel is able to combine its historical elegance with modern functionality.

Attended All Energy renewable expo here today. Long queues for just two dirty toilets with no paper, no staff to complain to, two out of three washbasin taps not working, all soap dispensers empty. Walked about 100m to another toilet block. Same. All this by 1.30pm a few hours after conference started...and this is just the Men's toilets. Raise your game!

This is a decently sized conference centre that is easily accessible from Swanston Street trams and Melbourne Central station. There is a good range of seating that allows you to see the stage from any location you choose. There wasn't any difficulty hearing the presenters either. There seemed to be some darker areas of the venue towards the back but not sure if that was due to lighting control.

What a great venue. Practising covid safety and such polite staff. The venue is fresh , vibrant and clean. Wasn't exactly sure where the entrance was. Other than that awesome venue.
