Cute little tapas but full with flavour! My favourites were the scallop, ox tongue and the spiced cauliflower. Waiting staff were very accommodating, making sure all our food were served promptly so we can make it to the showđź’Ż

Service was amazing and the atmosphere was great for a Wednesday evening. All the dishes came out fast and presentation was immaculate. However, the quality of the food didn’t live up to the presentation. Recommendation: scallops, corn ribs, croquettes, prawns

Spanish bar nestled in the middle of the city centre. They offer variety of entree to main dishes also meal pack. I think it's best to buy the meal pack one such as the "workers lunch" pack which will allow you to try multiple dishes for an ok pricing. Ordered the beef dish and pork belly as entree. Beef is tasty as well as tender, pork belly is ok. Also some roast potato. I think for the price its just alright and plus they are good for office lunch event but that's about it for me .

Bombar is one of the best tapas bars I have ever been too! Firstly it’s got a cosy and warm vibe inside with both tables and seating all along the bar. We say at the bar right near the kitchen so could see the chefs making all the dishes. You are served sourdough bread with olive oil to start and the bread is so soft on the inside and crispy and salty on the outside. We ordered a range of small plates including; smoked trout dip on cracker, ham and tomato on toast, pork belly, grilled quail and buckwheat, pomegranate and feta salad. My personal favourite was the quail as it was served with rhubarb and fennel purée. The flavour combination was so unique as it was Smokey and sweet. The buckwheat salad was a great side dish as it was filling and the pomegranate seeds were a pop of sweetness. Then for dessert we had gelato which was very refreshing. The red and white wine was also great. Can’t wait to go back and try many more dishes!

A hip, hustling and bustling inner city joint, Bombabar serves reliable Spanish dishes and a wide variety of drinks. We had dinner at the downstairs restaurant, and went with the pre-theatre menu for $45 as the best value (available until 7), which includes six dishes. We loved the croquette, smoked trout on a crisp, and the pork belly. I wasn’t a big fan of the beef and found the patatas bravas and the salad overly salty. They’re happy to swap dishes from the set menu if there’s something you don’t eat, which is very accommodating. We had plenty of sangria, which was easy to drink though I wasn’t sure how much alcohol it actually contained. For dessert (not included in the set menu) we had the Bomba mess and churros, both of which were fine. We went up to the rooftop bar for an after-dinner drink, and it has a nice view of the city but is very noisy, making conversation a bit difficult. Overall, this is a lively place with good food, and we wouldn’t mind going back.
