A random decision to stop here after running a race to raise money for breast cancer in Brighton and trying to find something nice to eat that was away from all the crowds. This little gem had delicious food and great service that really stood out. I'll be back for another visit when I'm back in the area.

What a find! Waking up on a rainy Saturday morning, we decided to try this cafe, situated right next to Ripponlea Train Station. Really good coffee but what really made it for us was the food. New on their menu is the amazing Ba Baa Lamb Burger! Succulent lamb patty with haloumi in a brioche bun... Words can't describe it because my mouth was so full! 🤤 The service was really nice and the staff very warm and friendly! Definitely coming back here with friends and family!

The place is pretty big and there's plenty of parking outside the cafe. They have nice sitting arrangements but it was a little painful to sit on a hard wood bench inside the cafe for an hour or so. They should have some cushions on the bench inside the cafe. However, the ambiance was calm and the cafe was not too noisy. We booked the table half an hour before we reached and the table was ready with the menus and water before we arrived. Good to see our table ready to go. The staff was very welcoming and smiling all the time. I would love to see a smiling staff before ordering my first coffee in the morning. We ordered Flat white and Cappuccino which were very good in taste. The barista tried to have a complex Latte art but could not do a great job on it. However, full marks on the taste. We ordered Shakshuka and chilli scrambled eggs. I liked Shakshuka as it was not too sour and the spices were well balanced. The chilli scrambled eggs was presented with mushrooms on the top on a single piece of bread which I prefer instead of 2. I would love to visit this place again for a good coffee and to try some other food.

The staff were very friendly. Thanks to the two ladies who served me! The place was really nice and the atmosphere was light and refreshing. Plus the toilets were super clean. I ordered a cinnamon and cappuccino. It was all perfect. A very good cup as well. A nice little treat when taking yourself out.

Nice presentation, food taste a little salty. Average coffee. Friendly and prompt service. Slightly overpriced. Extra $10 to add gluten free toast.
