Just came in for the $20 lunch special and was so impressed I decided to post about it. I got a beef pie with mash and green beans, and sure it’s a simple meal but these guys nailed it. Really fresh ingredients. Flaky, buttery pie with tasty af peppery filling. $20 lunch specials are usually a bit average, but this was like a $40 meal on special. Also they don’t do pots with their specials like everyone else, but schooners. Unbelievably good and delicious and thank you. I’ll be back.

Went to this pub on a very busy night (Robbie Williams concert). Booked a table ( great we could do this). Food ordered and arrived quickly. Generous portions and really tasty. Busboys were attentive and cleared tables consistently. Happy hour went for 2 hours with half price drinks (so very happy hour). Having dinner and drinks here was such a great idea. Staff handled the big crowd excellently. Well done. Would definitely recommend.

Has improved over the years, prices are good and staff are friendly and prompt. They even give discounts for local workers. Food is fine, but don't expect anything fantastic.

Had dinner here before the USA v Sweden match, it was pumping with US fans! Standard pub grub, friendly polite staff, 2 minutes from Richmond St. The best location to eat before a match in the Olympic precinct
