Needed a place to have lunch but also get some work done & Metro bar & Bistro was the place. I came here on the weekend for a friends engagement party & loved the space. It is a slightly hidden treasure unless you are corporate or heading to the convention centre. I am so glad to have found this gem. Today I had a delicious salmon on roast veg & a sneaky bubbly (don’t tell my boss) I also got a-lot of work done out in the sun in the courtyard. Last Saturday I was taken by the beautiful surroundings of the sky scrapers & lush palm trees potted in oversized pots the size of me! I highly recommend this venue for events of all kinds such as corporate lunches, engagements, weddings, birthday parties, hens & buck shows etc. the staff were really friendly & Brooke was helpful when I asked about events & bookings. Ample space, modern furnishings, stellar food & drinks menu, easy parking, alfresco seating & very clean fresh bathrooms. I am just a little surprised to have found the Metro hidden away where it is. As a sales rep you need an office that’s on the move, I will add the Metro to my diary & I will be back for Friday night drinks!

WOW!! Where do I start!!! We recently celebrated our wedding reception and Brooke and her team went above and beyond. Everyone commented on how attentive, polite and friendly the staff where and the food and drink was second to none! I was never without a drink in my hand the entire night. The venue was set up even better than we could of imagined. Nothing was an issue. If only we could do it every weekend! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our day so special!

We ordered the garlic “flat bread” with hummus - firstly the bread wasn’t flat or garlic and the hummus was but a smear on the plate. It took over half an hour to come out and chips and Aoli didn’t arrive before we had go so we cancelled them. The wine/drinks were nice.

Salty food, overcooked and extremely pricey for what they serve. We got pretty much every plate in the menu (salmon, pasta, lamb, sandwiches, beef) so could see that the group was not happy with what they got. Vegetarian options are disappointing.
