If it wasn't for the reception staff, I would be giving a lower score. I requested to be moved rooms as the room I was given had dust everywhere, surfaces, carpet around edges, and hair on the bedhead. The second room I was moved to was just as bad. Both bathrooms were not sufficiently clean and behind the sink had grime and hair. I was finally moved to a bigger room. However, this was the same. Dust, bathroom not cleaned properly, Kettle had grime and hand prints on it. After the 3rd attempt, I requested a refund and left. It was not great given it was around 9 pm when I arrived and was exhausted from travel. If the hotel improves (a lot) in the cleanliness, it could be a good hotel, good staff, good location but horrible cleaning.

Our stay was terrible, firstly was not told that we had to pay a $100 deposit on top of what we already paid. ( which would have been fine if mentioned) + the attitude from the receptionist wasn’t a great start. Additional to that we had to pay for parking that was in a separate building from the hotel and then never told us about how the boom gate key works and that we have to go back to reception for them to give us another, the instructions given to me by the front desk were brief and really gave me no answers didn’t feel like they gave a crap, Now for the room Honestly really not great considering what they are asking for nights stay. Only two pillows given and not even a blanket just one top sheet. But my partner did ask for more and they were given. Also had stains on the sheets that looked interesting… unfortunately i was hoping this would have been a nice place to stay after my surgery but it was dreadful and the tv quality and entertainment was not great…overall I’m pretty disappointed in this place and this is my first ever review I’ve made so that says a lot.

Firstly, it is next to an active building site. No disclosure of this on booking, or subsequent communication. Woken early by machinery and work crew. We booked what they labelled as a 'suite'. It was nothing more than a standard room with a lounge chair thrown in. The space for the beds were so narrow, we would hit the wall. Very little space for hanging clothes, everything old and worn, and same for the pillowsThe bathroom had no vanity. Just a metal trolley with a few worn towels.Worst of all the sheets were stained. I went downstairs to the supposed coffee shop to buy some breakfast. Only buffet breakfast available for $28.00. So, not really a coffee shop, just a hotel dining room! We booked a second room which was meant to have twin beds, but this was not provided, until my son insisted. The attitude of the staff is one of total no care. On check out, she did not even lift her head. Told me to leave key cards on the desk. Very tardy hotel, with a tardy attitude.

Beautiful hotel with great amenities & nice location. Staff is really helpful. We stayed here with family for 2 nights & enjoyed our time, will stay again when visiting Canberra again. There is $15/night car parking fee but that's nearby. Highly recommended place to stay👍🙂😎

Loved our stay here. Would definitely recommend everyone. Make sure the card works well we have issues many times. Enjoy the food menu as well.
