Stayed here for a long weekend with my partner and we had a fantastic time. The suite was spacious, comfortable and spotless when we arrived. The staff were friendly and very easy to deal with. We didn't spend much time in the resort village but it had a great energy for morning cafe visits. The beach access was also a huge win - just a 5 minute walk from the room down to the water. The resort itself is also located right in the middle of Kingscliff. We did daily trips out to restaurants, beaches and attractions nearby, and most of it was a ~5 minute drive from Peppers. Highly recommend the location and we would be back.
We stayed there for 3 nights in room 3105. This is a hotel room, meaning is very small, with a sliding door facing the lagoon. The good first. The lagoon is very nice, big enough to accommodate children and adults. The resort gave us at check-in two vouchers for bar. Pool towels are free. Parking is underground free and big enough. There are few restaurants close by and I can recommend the Giulia as the best regarding price and food quality. The bad now. Appalling management. We tried to extend our stay for one more day and they wanted to charge us two days for one night. The breakfast options are average with many items, like sourdough or avocado available only at early hours. The hotel room very small with just basic facilities. The TV outdated and in need to be replaced.
Resort looks amazing from the outside. The rooms are in need of a refurbishment. For the price you pay the room is very basic and not worth the price. The resort pool is lovely and the Seasons restaurant is ok. Resort close to beach and shops.
Great resort but once you are there unless you have a car it's hard to get around. The resort itself is beautiful. The breakfast is nice when included in the room price. I was on a bottom floor with a plunge pool. It was beautiful. At night the lights outside on the path are left on. However being on the ground floor this also means light coming in through the windows. I ended up using towels to block the light coming through. If this would bother you make sure you get a room above ground floor level. Internet connection was not great.
The rooms are lovely, and the location on the beach is beautiful. On this occasion we were very disappointed. Our room wam’t ready for check when we arrived at 1.30. Not an issue as check in is normally 2pm. We were told we would get a call by 2pm to let us know when we could check in. We returned at 2.30 to be told the room wasn’t ready, but would be within an hour. As it is our wedding anniversary we brought champagne and seafood to have on our balcony for lunch. That sat in the car while we waited for check in. We orders a bowl of chips from the pool bar. They arrived cold and soggy. I went to the pool toilets and there was no toilet paper in the roll and wet toilet paper all over the floor and vanity. After this experience I went to reception to ask if we could finally check in. It was almost 3.30 by then. Although our room is in itself lovely we had called called earlier to see what type of room we would be checking into and were told hinterland or garden view. As can be seen by the attached photos there was neither of these views. If we had have been told the view from the terrace was going to be a bicycle courtyard to the south, housekeeping trolleys to the east and the hotel driveway to the west we would have know to expect that disappointment. If information is transparent then one knows what to expect. No complaints about guest services. They were very empathetic and concerned, but our expectations on this occasions was disappointing.
