Great as usual, although this time we were situated in room 360 and all night you could hear what seemed to be the elevator travelling up and down the lift shaft all night, it was a loud humming whirring noise. Unfortunately from this noise we didn’t get much or any sleep. Although we have stayed here in the past we have never encountered this before, hopefully it was a one off. Other than that it’s what a Pullman is, which is very comfortable ammenities and bedding. The restaurant a normal was amazing with the WAGU sirloin stealing the show. We will book again but definitely will be asking to be placed away from any lift corridors.
Really enjoyed the entire experience from valet, check in, comfort of the bed and breakfast the next morning. Super close to the stadiums, so an easy walk despite the heat. Plenty of space in the double room for the family. Thank you, we will be back!
Was happy with the overall experience, but there was 2 things that bugged me a bit from our stay. The room service was very difficult to cantact by phone just after 11pm even though they have an all night room service. I was also VERY unimpressed that I was charged for 2 items from the minibar when everything was double checked and accounted for as we left our room. I Was told that I would be given a refund, (which I have not received yet and am really hoping that I don’t have to call back and chase it up again) but the fact that If I had not caught it myself by checking my invoice and then having to call and rectify this issue was very frustrating to me and this issue really put a sour taste in my mouth. It makes me second guess the reliability and honesty of the Pullman and its staff.
Good things- room was beautiful, bed comfortable, good size bathroom, great location Not so good things- we were booked for 3 and everything was prepared for 2 - 2 cups, 2 tea/coffee, ect. There was no milk in our room on arrival we had to request from service. We attended a concert when we got back the food options between 11pm-6am menu were very limited. We ordered ice cream ( ok but very small) and Ruben sandwich- was not eaten at all way too many pickles. Would have liked to of seen a pizza on the menu or club sandwich or simple pasta.
Parking rort $$$ Restaurant used to be a nice break! Not any more because parking fees will break you. Parking used to be complimentary for diners. When I booked, I asked if there was still complimentary parking and was told it’s ’subject to availability. Liar. Just say it’s $10 an hour. Apparently since this year, ticketless parking was introduced at $10/hr - this is more expensive than some places in the city!! And due to ‘chatting with the restaurant supervisor’ about having toothpicks in the steak sandwich, I paid $10 more for 2 minutes. No grace. Will have to stop coming here even though the food n atmosphere is pretty good but chatting over coffee will cost too much. Fool me once - no more chance - lots of other places to get a good meal with free parking. Accor Plus Gold member
