•Sitting atop ivy, the recently refreshed uccello takes cues from the Southern Italian coastline with an elegant menu featuring light, fresh flavours. Our kitchen works closely with small-scale NSW farmers and producers, with head chef Noel Jelfs ensuring only the highest quality ingredients make it to the plate. Traditional Italian techniques – such as wood-firing – inspire the seasonal menu, with a grand wood-fire oven sitting at the heart of the kitchen. It is the perfect place for a long lunch, pre-dinner drinks or a romantic evening dining experience.
The contemporary yet rustic décor creates an inviting atmosphere, with deep blue tones complemented by exposed brickwork and timber finishes. Uccello is also available for private hire, including the option to use their rooftop pool and bar area – perfect for special celebrations or corporate events. With great food, great service and an amazing ambience, this restaurant is sure to be a hit with anyone looking for a fine Italian dining experience in the heart of Sydney.

We went here for the Two Park Christmas party and the service was exemplary! Food was amazing. Caviar stood out and I'm happy I didn't have to pay for that! 🤣🤣 My next favourite is the shrimp! Great umami! Least favourite dishes were the pastas. I was expecting more from the crab pasta but it just didn't hit as well as I wanted it to! Too sour and the crab was overpowered by the sauce. I would recommend this restaurant 100%!
We came here for dinner. The location is really beautiful, and the service is good as well. As someone used to Italian food, there are a few small improvements that could be made (for example, they gave us buffalo mozzarella but called it burrata…), but overall the dishes are good! The tiramisu is very tasty (even though it doesn’t really resemble the REAL Italian tiramisu).
Came here for dinner as it was listed as a goodfood gift card restaurant and boy it did not disappoint at all! Food was immaculate and cooked perfectly with flavours that paired so nicely together. Scotch fillet melted in your mouth and cooked to a perfect med rare! Service was impeccable from the staff! Loved every single second of it, would come back again!
Uccello, located in Sydney’s Ivy Precinct, offers a unique Italian dining experience with a vibrant poolside ambiance 🌊✨. The menu features authentic Italian dishes like veal tartare, goat’s curd tortelli, and wood-fired proteins 🍝🔥, paired with an extensive selection of Italian wines 🍷. While many guests praise the attentive service and pleasant atmosphere 🤩, some have noted issues with portion sizes, pricing, and seasoning 🤔. Overall, it’s a great spot for a special occasion 🎉, but expectations may vary depending on personal preferences.
Came in with reservation, while I was waiting to be seated, 3 different waiters asked about my table and they said just to wait for someone else to come and help me. If these table waiters are unable to help with seating, maybe just dont ask? Just say that someone is coming in to help me shortly? Why do i have to answer same questions over and over again? I’m not particularly impressed with the food. Garlic bread was too salty. The mojitos could be waaaaaaay better, and ridiculously overpriced ($15). The bars near australian museum did better mojitos than this. None of the food left any good impression. Vibe was too loud. Have to yell to talk with my table mates. And over those noise, they still put some music up. Was it worthy to go back? 🤷🏻♀️ i dont think so.
