I just stayed the 1 night here and it did the job. It was nice to get upgraded to a 1 bedroom apartment as I wasn’t expecting that. The staff here were all professional and nice especially the lady who checked me out on my departure (sorry forgot her name). Only downside is due to the location there is no where to temporarily pull up of the front due to how busy charlotte street is as I had to drive around the block a few times before finally finding somewhere. I do think the rooms and hotel could do with a renovation but overall good stay.
Fantastic service from every staff member I encountered including at adjoining restaurant. Lovely pool to cool off and rooms are well stocked with the basics plus minibar which is great to see. Only negative is that the rooms are getting a little daggy, worn and old but they’re large and clean with good balconies and everything you could need. Good value for money, will definitely consider for future Brisbane stays.
Reasonable hotel for the price, however there were some issues with service. I had booked a one bedroom apartment for 3 adults plus an infant and requested a cot. Reception informed me that there was no request for a cot on my booking, despite this showing on my confirmation email. They requested housekeeping to set this up for us, and informed me the sofa bed was already set up. On arrival to the room, the sofa bed was not set up. As housekeeping was outside our room as we were heading out, I requested the cot and sofa be made up and this was done by the time we got back. The room itself was fine for our purposes however the sofa bed is not particularly comfortable. The included a la carte breakfast at the onsite restaurant was great, however not so much the coffee. The service at the restaurant left a bit to be desired.
We recently held our wedding reception at the Sebel, and we couldn't be happier with the experience! The staff was attentive, and the food was delicious. My family also stayed at the hotel, and they loved the spacious room on a high floor with a great view. The entire stay was comfortable and memorable for them. A big thank you to the entire team for making our special day unforgettable!
As someone who travels to Brisbane once a month, I was looking forward to trying this hotel, but unfortunately, my stay fell short of expectations. I arrived at 1 am to find my bed in an unacceptable state—a candy was stuck to the sheets, and they were sticky. Despite the inconvenience, I stripped the bed myself and managed for the night. The next morning, I reported this to the team, who assured me it would be resolved. However, when I returned after work, I found the bed remade with the same sticky linen. The sheets were finally changed later that evening, after I left for dinner. While I appreciated the staff's friendly and polite demeanor throughout my stay, certain aspects detracted significantly from the experience. One particular concern was the mini bar pricing—$10 for a 300ml bottle of lemonade felt excessive, even for a hotel. While I can understand that errors with housekeeping may happen, the combination of the linen issue and the steep pricing gave an impression of carelessness and prioritization of profit over guest experience.
