Attended a wedding here upstairs recently. Lovely room, good service and excellent food. Not easy to produce a multiple of medium-rare steaks at the same time! A great atmosphere in the beautiful exposed brick walls of the function room. The only issue is that there is no lift, and there were no lights in the stairwell, so a bit dodgy coming down after the event. But all up, a fabulous evening.

I dealt with a lovely lady by the name of Emma who is the Events Manager to organise my 60th Birthday, she was so helpful and on the staff on duty were absolutely wonderful. I thoroughly recommend using the Alliance Hotel for any functions.

Stopped by on a Friday lunch time. The anchovies on toast and the calamari were perfect. White anchovies on toasted brioche is such a perfectly balanced dish and the calamari was cooked to perfection. I’m going to be raving about this lunch for a long time to come. So nice to see a pub doing share plates so well. Hopefully we’ll be back soon! Thank you! 🤤

The Alliance Hotel has a friendly and efficient team that pairs well with the clean and inviting atmosphere. A we’ll balanced menu offers a couple of vegetarian dishes and could be further improved with the addition of some vegan choices. Food quality was very good and the prices very reasonable. Definitely worth revisiting.

Great find!! In Brisbane for work and The Alliance was just up the road from my hotel. Had the eye fillet and it was cooked perfectly, the sides and sauce were generous and delicious. Staff very welcoming. Great atmosphere. Very happy to have stumbled across this pub.
