Excellent stay. Great staff. Clean room. Good location, but a little noisy with the bar/club across the street playing very loud music very late made it difficult to sleep (I was there for work, so this was important to me). I would definitely stay here again, but request a room at the back of the hotel not facing the bar/club!
Very nice hotel in a convenient location in the CBD. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice and spacious for the price. The amenities like the bar and pool seemed nice however we were unable to use them on our short trip. The only downside was due to staying on a Friday night, the music coming from the Hindley Street nightclubs kept us awake until 5am.
Stayed for 4 nights while attending a conference. Received a generous upgrade to King bedroom. The rooms were spacious and well furnished. Fridge had stock of 2 x 500ml water and we were asked to purchase if we want more supply for the next 3 days, which sounds ridiculous. Tea supply was refurbished daily. Liked the system of getting $10 food voucher if you choose to skip (go green) room cleaning. Weekend was big noisy as there was lot of movement in the corridor and could hear it. Continental breakfast is same everyday, not much variety of dishes. Kitchen staff are excellent in their service however the front desk staff did give the same vibe. Room for improvement I think.
We had a queen room upgraded to a king. The room was very spacious, clean and well decorated and finished. A spotless bathroom and a balcony. Perfect for our overnight stay. Parking in the basement was super convenient. A big thanks to Ricky who checked us in.
On arrival I was upgraded to a King Suite, which was a lovely large room with nice decor. The room had a business desk, which is so important if you're travelling for work. Had room service one night, the dinner was delicious and the serves are very generous. The next night I went to the dining room and the staff were fantastic. The dish I chose was so delicious again. They offer complimentary drinks too. I love the fact that if you choose not to have your room clean, they give you a $10 voucher for dinner. There are lots of hidden extras. I did have an issue with a broken tap fitting which I reported the first morning and when I came back that afternoon, it was like new. There is something weird with the carpets in the room - it feels like it is glued to bumpy concrete and no underlay.
