The exterior facade of this hotel looks impressive because it looks like an old heritage preserved building. I particularly love the interior of its male toilet too, as the decor is creative & fun. Every time whenever we visit this local pub, we’d certainly order their porterhouse as well as the fish & chips while enjoying a beer or two.

Hot tip from a friend of mine lead myself and some associates here for a after work dinner. Menu variety- great Customer service - excellent, friendly, accommodating. Layout and vibe- great Food- I ordered a schnitzel with chips and vegetables. Everything was under cooked. Vegetables - like eating frozen Chips - crunchy in the middle like still frozen Schnitzel- tough and under cooked, tough to chew. Garlic Butter - tough. Garlic Bread - Very good. My party all got chips, which were left untouched, so consistent with the chip theme. Clearly my experience is not what most Google reviwers found, so perhaps just a Monday night thing.

I popped in for a quick schooner on a quiet Sunday walk and asked the bar lady for a schooner of Stella. She said they only had pots and pints, even though there is an advert on the bar advertising $8 Furphy Schooners during the football. 🤷 I said a pot was fine. However, even before she went to pour it, she said "we're out of Stella" 🤦 Anyway, I moved on and asked "do you have Draught". Reply was yes, Boags, which I had. So it wasn't a great experience overall and given the choices in the immediate vicinity, it's probably best to choose elsewhere. I will next time.

Edit: Please bring back the Belgian beers on tap! This was what made The Quarry stand out from the other pubs in the area. ____________________________ I absolutely love this pub, but I wish they were more generous with the $2 sauces. Other than that, best place to get Belgian beers on tap. Edit: no more Belgian beers on tap :'(
