Event Pavilion
The Event Pavilion is located in the hotels courtyard. This unique space has state of the art audio visual equipment & abundant natural light. A unique venue that opens up onto two courtyard spaces. The Event Pavilion is an ideal venue for a wedding or any event. This space is divisible by three & has four private dinning rooms that can be included. From the hotel rooms above you can see the botanical roofline of the pavilion. The Event Pavilion can hold up to 250 people for a cocktail event or 200* for a sit down dinner. * please note this is without any audio visual or dance floor
Bridge & Yarra Room
The Bridge & Yarra Room is filled with natural light beaming through the large windows along River Street. With a capacity to seat 150 guests banquet style, 220 guests theatre style and ability to be divided into two separate meeting rooms, this room is both flexible and empowering.
Park Room
The Park Room features floor to ceiling windows overlooking our central courtyard and the O'Connell Reserve. This room is the perfect setting for a cocktail party for 50 people or a boardroom meeting for up to 20 people. The Park Room is also a popular venue for smaller more intimate weddings and events. The Park Room allows for a tranquil view of the surrounding greenery of O'Connell Reserve and the Yarra River below. The Park Room has direct access to the Outdoor Courtyard - ideal for breakouts, team building, or family events to give the little ones a little more space to play.
Octagon Room
The Octagon is a light-filled space surrounded by floor to ceiling windows which look out to the greenery that surround the river beyond. It's a gorgeous view, and a stunning setting for a dinner event, or a networking evening. The Octagon Room, part of The Reserve Dining Room features direct access out to the Central Courtyard and views over the nearby O'Connell Reserve.
Banks Room
The sophisticated Banks Room is ideal corporate events, presentations and\or training. Like all the Amora Riverwalk meeting rooms, the Banks Room has an abundance of natural light and features mounted AV facilities.
Hawthorn Room
The Hawthorn Room has a maximum capacity of 80 theatre style, or 40 seated cabaret for a seminar or presentation. The versatile Hawthorn Room can be used as a larger conference space or can be divided into two or three separate smaller rooms. The Burwood Room, Lennox Room and Swan Rooms are all ideal for boardroom meetings or breakout areas.
Burwood Room
The Burwood Room is but one of the many versatile function spaces for corporate groups. The Burwood Room is a versatile space, understated without being boring, stylish without being overbearing. Beaming with the natural light of floor-to-ceiling windows, the room has plenty of scope for presentations and meetings. The Bridge Room is fitted with high-quality audio-visual technology, making it an ideal space for presentations and workshops.
Yarra Room
The Yarra Room is filled with natural light, beaming from the floor-to-ceiling windows which line the side of the room. Equipped with audio-visual technology, this multipurpose room is ideal for corporate meetings, workshops, and training. The Yarra Room has the capacity for 100 people theatre style, 40 people cabaret style, and 24 people u-shape style.

Stayed here for a couple of nights as part of a work trip. My room was a good size with a sofa, which I love when staying in a hotel room. The Bed was ok but the shower left a lot to be desired. It was a rainhead. Ok for guys so not so fabulous for women who don't want to get their hair wet every day. I did discover you could tip it, however at 5" nothing this was a logistical feat!!! The adjustment of shower temperature also was sooo awful. Needed to be adjusted in millimeters to get anything near a reasonable temperature for a shower. Seriously need a plumbing upgrade. The hotel restaurant is great. The food is lovely. The staff service is great. Location is close to a mall with a Coles and IKEA. Overall a nice property but the plumbing and shower setup seriously impact the stay hence my room rating.

4 night stay. Room was pleasant enough and very clean. Mattress on the firmer side bit made up for with a pillow menu. Located on a tram line for easy access into the city. Plenty of dining options nearby. Food in the restaurant was delicious.

We stayed here for one night while we attended an event. Check in was a breeze. We had a king spa room with balcony. Elevators were smooth and quiet. Staff were all nice. Buffet breakfast was nice, not a bad variety. Love that they have a Nutella dispenser :). The room was quite small, balcony was small but, a couple of rooms down, their balcony was flooded. View was nice at night. Requested boomerang pillows at no extra charge, no issues. Bed was a little firm but pillows great. Filled the spa bath only to realise the plug didn’t hold the water in and it completely drained. We spoke to reception who promptly changed the plug for us no issues. Water pressure wasn’t the greatest and the temperature kept changing to warm and then boiling hot. Mould noted around the bath and fixtures. Exposed wiring on the bedside lights (no bottom on the wall sconces). Glass sliding door to balcony was filthy with hand prints and smudge marks. Mini fridge was completely empty, not even a small bottle of water. Happy hour on Wednesday night 3pm - 6pm states $15 cocktails etc. (Ephesus on the s) ordered 2 cocktails and was charged full price. When queried, staff told us that it was only one particular cocktail that is $15 however, nowhere does it state that’s its only that one selected cocktail only. Happy hour wasn’t very happy. Staff gave us an $9 free drink instead.

I really enjoyed this hotel. The price-to-quality ratio is great. I got a king room for three nights for under $600 including a Friday and a Saturday (I do have a 20% Booking dot com discount). Staff were well presented, professional and efficient. The venue is also well presented. Sadly, I did not soak up the building's architecture nor additional facilities. Bottlo, pub, restos, trams, etc, all very close. My only critique? Two. I was given a king room. Wrong. My bed was two singles put together. Sleeping in the middle of the bed is hella uncomfy because of the split, so I ended up sleeping on one side only. Also, the placement of the toit roll requires a contortionist's bendiness. The shower is peak. Raining style. The heat and the cold dials are so finely tuned yet easy to comprehend quickly. Water temp changes quickly.

4 night stay for business. Hotel close to Hawthorn offices. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was firmer than I like. Only milk in the bar fridge. Standard tea/coffee, kettle set up. Bit of noise travelled from the bar to the room. It was lovely to have a balcony though to sit and unwind with a glass of wine after the work day. Food at the hotel restaurant was amazingly good as were other local options.
