We absolutely love working at Metropolis Events! The venue is stunning every time, with such a beautiful atmosphere for events and weddings. Metropolis was an excellent venue for our wedding. Location was so convenient for our guests, including those that had travelled from interstate/overseas. The interior was beautiful with its signature high ceilings and windows, making for perfect viewing of the city scape. More than anything, service from our event coordinator, Chloe, and the rest of the staff on the night was what really made it all come together and we are so grateful for their care.
We had our wedding at Metropolis three weeks ago and it was incredible - firstly, Natasha as our wedding event event planner was excellent. Her communications were clear, she was knowledgeable and we knew we were in safe hands after our very first meeting with her. Shout out to the Metropolis service team on the night who were fantastic - we've had comments from our family and friends about how great the service was, so warm and friendly and that really made our night. Our bridal table team were also incredible, they checked in on us, made sure we had delicious food and a constant flow of our favourite drinks. The venue is gorgeous, truly those floor to ceiling windows are a show stopper. Our wedding had a majority of interstate and some overseas visitors and this venue is just perfect to highlight our beautiful Melbourne city skyline at night! We opted for more simple decor styling because we wanted to show off that back drop and I'm so glad it worked out. Our wedding blended two cultures - good food was incredibly important to both of our families. Every dish was delicious and portion sizes were great. We picked Metropolis after attending a friend's wedding there 3 years ago and I'm thrilled that we went with them for such an important day in our lives. Thanks team!
We had a fantastic experience hosting our Sportsbet award night event at this venue. The space itself was excellent — well set up, flexible and perfectly suited to our event. The team (especially Marijana) were professional, attentive and incredibly easy to work with from start to finish, making the entire process seamless. On the night, everything ran smoothly and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our guests were looked after. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone looking to host a successful event.
Attended the end-of-year work event. Food was good, no complaints there. But the venue was way too small for the number of people they hosted. What really ruined the experience was the security. They actually yelled at us to leave the venue while there was a long queue at the exit — all because they turned off the down escalators and kept the up ones running. How does that even make sense? It created a huge bottleneck and delayed everyone trying to get out. Ridiculous and very poorly managed.
