Attended the end-of-year work event. Food was good, no complaints there. But the venue was way too small for the number of people they hosted. What really ruined the experience was the security. They actually yelled at us to leave the venue while there was a long queue at the exit — all because they turned off the down escalators and kept the up ones running. How does that even make sense? It created a huge bottleneck and delayed everyone trying to get out. Ridiculous and very poorly managed.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Metropolis Events – The Perfect Wedding Venue We had the absolute wedding of our dreams at Metropolis. Everything was beyond incredible. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the staff went above and beyond to make our night unforgettable. A huge thank you to Charlotte, who made the night run flawlessly. From getting our drink and food orders to helping my parents at the end of the night by sorting out everything in boxes to make it easy for them to load the car! Her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail were outstanding. We also want to give a massive thank you to our wedding planner, Natasha, for supporting us every step of the way in the lead-up to the wedding. She helped with absolutely everything and made the entire planning process so smooth and stress-free. We cannot recommend Metropolis highly enough! Truly a 5-star experience. We had our wedding at Metropolis Events and we honestly couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. Everything — from the planning stages to the final moments of the night — was exceptional. The menu tasting was such a highlight and gave us so much confidence going into the day. The room on the night looked absolutely stunning and exceeded all expectations. Our wedding planners were organised, supportive, and so easy to work with throughout the whole journey. On the night, every staff member was amazing. The bridal assistant was outstanding and so attentive, and even the security team were incredibly friendly and professional. Everyone was kind, helpful, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. Metropolis went above and beyond in every way. We truly couldn’t be happier and highly recommend them to any couple planning their wedding!

We recently had the absolute pleasure of hosting both our wedding ceremony and reception at Metropolis Events, and we cannot recommend this stunning venue highly enough. From the moment we first visited, we were blown away by the breathtaking views over Melbourne’s iconic Yarra River and CBD skyline — it truly set the perfect backdrop for our special day. Throughout the planning process, we had the privilege of working with Event Coordinator, Natasha, who was simply incredible. Friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and genuinely kind, Natasha made the entire lead-up to the wedding smooth and stress-free. She was always responsive and went above and beyond to make sure every detail was exactly how we envisioned it. On the day itself, the operations team were outstanding. A special shoutout to Lin and Tessa, who were not only professional and calm under pressure but also incredibly thoughtful and supportive — they made everything run seamlessly and allowed us to fully relax and enjoy every moment. The catering team also deserves high praise. The chef, kitchen staff, waiters, and bar staff were phenomenal. From the generous and delicious cocktail hour canapés to the beautifully plated entrees, mains, and desserts, every dish was met with glowing compliments from our guests. The food and service exceeded all expectations. Metropolis Events also offers an exceptional list of external partners and suppliers, including fantastic DJs, AV/technical support, and a fun photo booth experience — all of whom were absolute professionals and played a key role in making our wedding day unforgettable. We truly could not fault a single aspect of our experience with Metropolis Events.
