Great stay, staff made us feel welcome. My wife sent a sneaky little email to them without my knowledge prior to checking in, to advise that we were visiting Melbourne as it was my birthday that weekend, which was true, and anything they could do to make our stay just that little bit extra special would be appreciated. She received a response almost instantly to say that this had been noted on our booking. She wasn't expecting much, but when entering the room, there was a bottle of champagne on ice waiting for us. A nice little touch, and a great way to start my birthday weekend away. Rooms were neat and tidy, and the location is perfect. We were close enough to most things that if we didn't want to catch transport, we could walk, which we did on most occasions. When next in Melbourne, we will be staying at the Radisson on Flagstaff again.

Convenient central location, and great view of the Flagstaff Gardens Park opposite. The customer service was exceptional, in particular Skye and her team in the restaurant, where nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious, and very well priced. We had the burger, and fish curry, both recommended. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, and spotlessly clean. Also worthy of note is the indoor rooftop gym, sauna, and spa pool with city views. All in all a great experience!

Great stay with a family. The room looked a bit old, BUT the service makes up for everything. Super friendly staff, professional, and overall a great vibe. Their rooftop is just perfect and very good breakfast choices.

Stayed here many times, has been our go to for weekends in the city for some years but increasingly disappointed. All the friendly faces we have seen for years are all gone, 100% staff turnover. Restaurant hours and buffet breakfast reduced. And spa is now cool - guessing 33-34°C. Not quite the great hotel we use to love. We will look for somewhere else next time.

I have stayed at the Radison many a time before and have never had an issue. I stayed again recently and sadly did not have the same experience. Upon check in was told we had a free room upgrade. Great start. I confirmed with the person checking us in if the room had two single beds, which she also confirmed. Perfect. Head up to the room excited and ready to go to bed as we had had a long day and were feeling pretty tired. Upon entering the room the first thing we see is one king bed and not the two singles that we had been told the room had. Given the hour and that we were pretty tired, we made do and separated the beds ourselves. As we are looking around the room we notice that it was in quite a state. The door to the fridge did not shut properly, there were sections on the walls where the paint was peeling off and the bathroom was not the cleanest. The big issue though, due to safety reasons, was that the smoke alarm had been removed and the chord for it was hanging from the ceiling. It was such a let down as I had always found the hotel to be nice, clean and providing a luxury standard for a reasonable price.
