It's a great, not expensive but also not budget option hotel, it's literally the best option we could think of for a place you want to just want to go too and know you'll get a good rest, with everything you need available, while not glamorous, rooms are well kept, function as you need. Close to pretty much anything you need to get to Melbourne, being close to trams, we've stayed there multiple times and have never had any real issues. If you want a stay that won't break the bank somewhere comfortable this is far and a by the best option.
The hotel offers a highly convenient location, making it an excellent choice for exploring Melbourne’s CBD. While the rooms are fairly standard and the breakfast was average, the central positioning more than makes up for it, providing easy access to key attractions, dining, and transport options. It’s a practical and comfortable stay for those looking for convenience and accessibility in the heart of the city.
Our family stayed at this hotel for four days starting on Christmas Day. We were able to get into the room early, which was greatly appreciated since we had just gotten off a 15 hour flight. Room was clean, plenty of toiletries, and spacious enough for a family of four. Only issue, minor in my opinion, is that the bathroom sink drained very slowly, probably needed cleaned out. Breakfast buffet at the restaurant next door is worth the extra money up front. Would recommend!
The room was ok in terms of space and overall quality of bedding/sleep. Unfortunately it was not clean to an extent that we didn’t feel comfortable letting the kids play on the floor. Front desk team was responsive and willing to find ways to compensate for the bad experience. On checkout day, we wanted to try breakfast and were informed about pricing from the front desk agent. Once at the restaurant (10 metres away) we were asked for a different (higher) amount and decided to just go to the cheaper bar on the opposite side of the road. Location is perfect for visiting Melbourne. Overall I believe for a similar pricing you can find better options in the neighbourhood.
Room was a decent size, just nice for a single person, might be a bit tight for 2. Comfortable bed. The rooms layout is a bit of a maze especially if you get a room further from the lifts and have to drag your luggage through the labyrinth. Other than that, all is good.
