Room was a decent size, just nice for a single person, might be a bit tight for 2. Comfortable bed. The rooms layout is a bit of a maze especially if you get a room further from the lifts and have to drag your luggage through the labyrinth. Other than that, all is good.
This place Will give another level of flexibility and comfortability when travelled or having leisure time in Melbourne. I got 1st floor room within panoramic boutique store entrance which was really awesome. #Thumbs
Great bang for your buck, very happy with overall experience. 1 thing I found a little strange was one lady at check in carry on about too many guests lining up and mentioning how we should have brought vodka and or chocolates, it was a bit uncomfortable, even if a joke. Would definitely go back. Great location right in the city.
Location was good. Reception staff were very hit and miss. The receptionist I dealt with on arrival (older lady, blonde hair) was super abrupt and rude. Not just to me, but to the people in front of me as well so seems it’s just the way she is. However, the receptionist I spoke to when I was checking out was super nice. The room itself was pretty average, nothing special but it’s fine as it’s just for sleeping in. It’s definitely one of those “looks way nicer online” hotels. Expected better for $160 a night. Another let down was that the walls are paper thin and I could hear everything that was happening in the hallway. Probably wouldn’t return to this place
Stayed there for a weekend in Melb. Location is good but I got not sleep. The walls were so thin that when a noisy group in room next door came in at 1 pm I could hear every word and swearing. After two hours of this I rang front desk and asked them to ring the room and ask them to be quiet. Nothing was done. After three calls over one hour I gave up. The neighbours went to sleep at 4.45am. I had 3 hours sleep and the rest of the weekend was a struggle as I was too tired. I asked for compensation when I checked out. I was told the manager would ring me. No one contacted me. I rang again after two days. More promises but no contact. There are better options. Even if you need to pay more do it. Do not risk your holiday.
