I stayed for 2 nights, the location is excellent, near to Marvel Studio and Southern Cross Station, it's also within free trem zone but need elevator access or stairs to get into road level. The room is comfortable with good size for twin bed and a sofa bed, it comes with microwave, coffee maker, small refrigerator and stainless tableware. The reception lady provided a very well service. The hotel lobby is one of a kind.
TLDR: Average service for what paid for, insufficient staff training, safety issues. We booked a room for three, for five days (four nights) in this hotel and paid around 650 euros from Booking, three single beds room and breakfast included. On the day of the arrival we arrived at the hotel already tired. The person in the front desk gave us the room 512, which we found out later that was a two-bed room and not a three-bed, as the reservation was. Went back to the front desk and changed it to room 717, which was a three-bed room. The receptionist asked us if we would like room with view on city or train station, we said train station but they gave us a city view. Minor to what follows. On the second day of our stay, we were taking an afternoon nap when suddenly the beeper sound of the door unlocking mechanism rings and the door opens. To our great surprise, three other guests OPENED our room with their card. This scared us and filled the rest of our trip with anxiety and insecurity. The response at the reception was that they had assigned the wrong room because they had upgraded a system and had not yet learned it well, and they offered us a drink as an apology, which we declined. A drink has no value when you know that at any moment someone could enter your room. What if they came in while we were away and stole our money and personal belongings? And while we expected to at least receive better treatment from the staff, they not only stopped talking to us at the reception, but the room cleaning service never came once, and we spent the remaining days with our own towels. Finally, besides the fact that the breakfast was very limited for a hotel of this size, the breakfast area is reminiscent of a university cafeteria or an old ship's restaurant.
Service was great. Had its own car park, gym, and yoga studio. The room was good despite getting the cheapest one. Breakfast was amazing with many many options and all you can eat.
Excellent in all ways. Right from the reception. Exceptional first impression. KC was awesome. Very friendly and professional. Took her time and made us feel very relaxed and at ease. We subsequently met up with Winnie, who was just as great. Kudos to the team at Travelogue. You actually deserve more than 5 stars. I've never given sure great ratings for any hotel before.
Had a great stay at the Travelodge, stayed for two nights and was pleasantly welcomed by the quality of the rooms. The buffet breakfast that was included with my booking was good quality and very convenient for the mornings! Also had a late checkout included at 12pm which is fantastic. Was supposed to have welcome drinks included as well but didn’t receive them, the only complaint I would have is that there was a woman at the front desk on between the 13-15th who wasn’t particularly pleasant and made my friend and I feel silly asking for her parking to be validated at the hotel guest price when she was checking out a day earlier than me. Apart from that was a great experience and would recommended :)
