The curtain at the front of the stage goes up and the guests realise they’re on the stage of the State Theatre and it’s just amazing.”

Tables set for fine dining, floral centrepieces add a pop of colour across the black stage, and the pièce de résistance – a selection of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra performing privately just for the event.

This particular event, held on the State Theatre stage, with a private performance from the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and a bespoke menu for 200 guests, was created with only 6 weeks’ notice.
