Apply For $25,000 To Host A Business Event in Melbourne

The National Business Events Program is offering up to $25,000 in funding to put toward corporate event costs in Melbourne. Applications are open until 30 June 2021.

Who is eligible?

Any organisation in Victoria with a valid ABN and an appropriate legal structure, such as an Australian registered company, business cooperative or partnership are invited to apply.

Other criteria include:

• The event must have at least 150 in-person attendees
• The event program should be a minimum of two-days (with one-night stay)
• At least 30% of delegates must reside outside Victoria
• It should be a B2B national event

Accepted events must be held prior to 31 December 2022.

How can you use the funding?

The funding can be used for a wide range of event costs, including venue hire, food and beverage, transport and accommodation.

How much funding is available?

Grants of up to $25,000 per event are available. Accepted organisations will receive 50% of the funding prior to the event to support their upfront expenses.

A national business event is defined as a:

• Corporate meeting
• Corporate incentive
• Conference
• Trade exhibition
• Association meeting
