•Visited the Adelaide Oval for the standard stadium tour and really enjoyed the experience. The guide was very knowledgeable, and as a cricket fan I learned a lot about the ground’s history and its connection to the game. Got to see how the traditional scoreboard operates, which was a highlight. Also had plenty of chances to take photos from different parts of the stadium, each with a unique view of the ground. The tour ran for about an hour and felt well paced. Bought tickets on Booking.com for $29, which I thought was good value for what was included.
Was my second time here this time seats much better even though not under cover as you could see all of the ground without any trouble. We were there for Gather Round and was great having supporters from other teams just enjoying the game. Easy to get to ground with public transport or if early enough great parking.
Walking into Adelaide Oval feels less like entering a stadium and more like stepping into a cathedral of sport. The atmosphere hums with history, every seat offering a perfect view, and the blend of modern design with heritage charm is flawless. Whether it’s cricket under the sun or footy under lights, this place doesn’t just host games—it creates unforgettable moments.
Adelaide Oval is one of the most beautiful and well-maintained stadiums I’ve visited. The atmosphere is incredible, whether it’s cricket, AFL, or a concert. The seating is comfortable, views are clear from almost every angle, and the entire venue is clean and well-organised. The staff are efficient, security checks are smooth, and the food options inside the stadium are surprisingly good. The lighting, sound system, and overall energy of the place make every event feel special. The outside area around the river is also great for photos and walking. Highly recommended for sports fans, tourists, or anyone attending an event in Adelaide.
First time to Adelaide oval and had a pretty good overall experience. The lanes to get around the ground and sections is a little narrow so it can get pretty crowded and slow moving when a big event is happening. Food choices were okay and some views were better than others. I saw multiple AFL games there. I imagine cricket would be a fun experience too on this ground to watch.
