Reviews for Amora Adelaide

Great location, and that's the only positive. The hot water didn't work on the evening of my one-night stay. I called reception twice after the gym, and nothing was done. I mentioned it to the room service attendant delivering dinner and was told it wasn't his department. Nobody followed up. The lobby has clearly had a lot of money spent on it since the change from Hilton to Amora, but the rooms haven't been touched. Mine was dated, dirty and smelled. Dinner was poor. The 250 g sirloin looked closer to half that, and nothing on the plate had much flavour. I was then charged multiple times for the same meal, totalling several hundred dollars. The front desk and duty manager reversed the charges the next morning, which I appreciated, but the apology was lukewarm, and no one seemed interested in what had gone wrong. I wouldn't recommend it for business travel. If you're booking for a special occasion or a first visit to Adelaide, be aware that the location is doing all the work, and you risk having a bad experience.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, from Peter greeting you, Isabella at reception, Artef in the restraint and Ali( ? Spelling) at the bar Position is quite good with the market next door, tram out the front and the free bus next door, rooms and areas really clean and well maintained, meals were very nice, bar area enjoyable to relax in, a shame the pool is not indoors, the only negative would be the room air conditioning was very warm, but fortunately you can open the windows a little thank you for an enjoyable vudit

Good gym, lobby infrastructure and location and facade are impressive but the hotel itself and rooms are dated and far below its given stars, thin ply toilet paper, no garbage bag in the bins rusty edges and details like this are disappointing. Staff are very nice.

I stayed at the amora on the weekend. A beautiful hotel, staff so friendly. The bed was so soft and comfy . Will definitely be staying there again

Not going to stay here again until they finish their renovations. Construction work starts at 6.30, which is not ideal when you just want to relax in a hotel room. When I asked the reception, they said the Construction work is from 6.30am to 7pm. So, if you want a relaxing place to stay, this is not the place. I used to love staying in this location when it was Hilton. Convenient location, spacious room. Since taken over by Amora, there had been so much Construction work.
