Seated or standing, cocktail or casual, open-air or undercover — all you need do is relax into our breezy, open design and we’ll take care of meeting your perfect brief. This open space is capable of hosting cocktail parties up to 150 guests, and seated events up to 90 guests. With the pool as the hero feature of the space, this venue is well suited to many events from hens soirees to corporate networking events, dinner parties, weddings and more.

We had such a great time here. The rooms were comfortable and quie as anticipated but the real surprise was the food available, the private dining room, the bar and of course the pool area. It’s a hotel that you can really relax in and enjoy all they have to offer.

I really rate this hotel. Someone has done a super stylish job making over an older building. The garden beds have been given a Palm Springs makeover and the pool area is gorgeous. The rooms are a really generous size and the bathrooms are lovely. The staff were fantastic and the breakfast (à la carte, not a buffet) top notch with great coffee. The lift is a bit old and creaky and it’s a good 15 minute walk from the centre of town but for the price it’s excellent value.

I recently stayed at the Alba for a few nights. I stayed in the Urban King Studio. The main room was a great size with a king bed, ensuite and tv, small table with 2 chairs and a great balcony. The "lounge room" was a fantastic size also, in hindsight I probably didn't need a room this large but it was nice as I had my young child with me so they were able to utilise that room while I was in the main. Upon entry to the hotel I instantly noticed the lack of air flow. The entrance to the hotel is lovely and open with the restaurant and bar right there and beyond that is the pool - stunning! When I entered my room, I noticed how warm it was in there again with a lack of any sort of air flow so I needed to utilise the air-conditioner straight away. The other thing I noticed was the stale, musky smell. It was quite off putting. Again the aircon helped to circulate the air, the smell faded but wasn't gone. I noticed that the room got quite hot, even in the middle of winter that we are experiencing in Adelaide at the moment, each night I only needed to sleep in light clothing and most nights i woke up kicking the blankets off me. I did not have the buffet breakfast so I cannot comment on this. I did eat in the restaurant and had drinks at the bar. In my opinion the food was average and way overpriced however that tends to be the norm at hotel restaurants. It was nice enough if you need a bite to eat and don't want to travel out of the hotel. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and this is a hotel I would book again.

We booked two rooms at Hotel Alba over a very busy weekend with Fringe and Motor Festivals. We specifically booked this hotel so we could enjoy the pool and a couple of the drinks at the end of each (hot) day. We were sent an email the night before we checked in advising the pool and bar would be closed on Sat from 2pm for a private function. If we were told this before we booked we would not have stayed , and it was too late to try and find suitable rooms elsewhere. The private function happened to be a Rave Party that had been advertised since late 2025, well before we booked the hotel . The music was ear piercing and made our rooms unusable while it was on. I won’t go into detail of what we saw happening in the pool area during the rave party - but let’s just say we didn’t want to use the pool the next day and probably would steer clear of the pool for a while 🙈we will be booking elsewhere when we attend next year

We cannot fault Hotel Alba! The restaurant and bar staff have been huge highlights. Big thank you to the above-and-beyond, personalised service from Edward at the bar during the day and dinner in the evening. Such a gentleman. And during dinner we also recieved exceptional and personalised service from Warren. They both were amazing. We felt very well looked after! The food was amazing. Oh my goodness we are big foodies and the taste, textures and balance of flavours was phenominal. The rooms are great, facitlities great. The pool and lounge area amazing! We love our room and its facilities. Honestly mist impressive place wr have ever stayed, and we will be back! 10/10. Just need a heated pool for the cooler days 😉
