WHAT IS THIS? A BURGER FOR ANTS?!? No but seriously the burger is very very lacking in the size department considering it is $26, the chicken barely covered half of the already small bun. The chips were good so that was a redeeming factor and the beer is always good but not a good enough reason to visit.

Pirate Life Brewing offers a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere that caters to a wide range of guests—from beer aficionados to families with kids. The venue is spacious, with both indoor and outdoor seating, shaded areas, and a playful vibe. The outdoor area features games like giant Jenga, hopscotch, and even a play boat for children, making it a genuinely family-friendly destination. Inside, the brewery maintains an industrial-chic aesthetic with a large open warehouse layout. You can see the brewing equipment behind the bar, adding to the immersive experience. There’s also a shuffleboard and arcade games, plus a brightly painted piano that kids love to play.

I had an amazing experience at Pirate Life Brewery! The food was absolutely delicious – fresh and full of flavour. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and it’s a great spot to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The staff were friendly and attentive (shout out to Pan), which made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back – highly recommend if you’re in Port Adelaide!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – Absolutely Exceptional! We hosted our staff Christmas lunch at Pirate Life on Saturday, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. Firstly, working with Indi, the Functions Coordinator, was an absolute dream. She was exceptional, incredibly accommodating, and truly went above and beyond to make our event perfect. Indi even rearranged other bookings to ensure we could have the tasting room, giving our group plenty of space and allowing the children to run around and enjoy the amazing shuffle bar, which kept both the kids and adults entertained! On the day, we had the absolute pleasure of being looked after by Pan. His hospitality was unmatched. He was engaging, fun, attentive, and willing to do anything to make our day special. He kept us informed, made everyone feel welcome, and added so much warmth and energy to the event. And the food… 11/10. Absolutely phenomenal. Our team could not have dreamed of a better end-of-year celebration. Choosing Pirate Life was one of the best decisions we’ve made for our staff event. We won’t be going anywhere else in the future. Could not recommend this venue and their incredible team highly enough!

First visit for my son’s 21st family dinner! Fantastic experience all round! From the tour to lunch to exceptional service! Close to the best service I’ve experienced in Adelaide! Accommodated for the little ones with a team member entertaining them with origami balls and hats to the friendliest waiter! Thankyou pirate life for making our day extra special!! We will be back! The mussels were second to none!!
