Sam and the team at Pirate Life have completely redeemed themselves. 😊 After my initial review, Sam personally reached out and genuinely wanted to make things right. He offered a voucher so we could come back and experience Pirate Life the way it should be — and I’m so glad we accepted. We booked for four of us on 21 February, and from the moment we arrived, it was a completely different experience. Tim looked after us and was outstanding. He guided us through the menu with such knowledge and enthusiasm, helping us choose dishes that suited us perfectly. We ordered the Fish & Chips, Mortadella, Salami, Stracciatella with Hot Honey and Radicchio, Focaccia, the Steak & Frites Baguette with Café de Paris Butter, and the Five Spice Fried Chicken Ribs with Curry Mayo — and every single dish was absolutely delicious. Tim’s insight into the menu really elevated the experience. It made choosing easy and enjoyable, and you could tell he genuinely cared about us having a great time. Sam, thank you for reaching out and taking feedback seriously. This second visit was amazing and truly changed our perception. It shows what can happen when a business listens, cares, and acts on feedback. I genuinely hope other businesses take note — because this is how you build loyalty and trust. First visit for my son’s 21st family dinner! Fantastic experience all round! From the tour to lunch to exceptional service! Close to the best service I’ve experienced in Adelaide! Accommodated for the little ones with a team member entertaining them with origami balls and hats to the friendliest waiter! Thankyou pirate life for making our day extra special!! We will be back! The mussels were second to none!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – Absolutely Exceptional! We hosted our staff Christmas lunch at Pirate Life on Saturday, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. Firstly, working with Indi, the Functions Coordinator, was an absolute dream. She was exceptional, incredibly accommodating, and truly went above and beyond to make our event perfect. Indi even rearranged other bookings to ensure we could have the tasting room, giving our group plenty of space and allowing the children to run around and enjoy the amazing shuffle bar, which kept both the kids and adults entertained! On the day, we had the absolute pleasure of being looked after by Pan. His hospitality was unmatched. He was engaging, fun, attentive, and willing to do anything to make our day special. He kept us informed, made everyone feel welcome, and added so much warmth and energy to the event. And the food… 11/10. Absolutely phenomenal. Our team could not have dreamed of a better end-of-year celebration. Choosing Pirate Life was one of the best decisions we’ve made for our staff event. We won’t be going anywhere else in the future. Could not recommend this venue and their incredible team highly enough!

WHAT IS THIS? A BURGER FOR ANTS?!? No but seriously the burger is very very lacking in the size department considering it is $26, the chicken barely covered half of the already small bun. The chips were good so that was a redeeming factor and the beer is always good but not a good enough reason to visit.

Can't really go wrong with a trip to Pirate Life. They've got beverages for everyone and food that will generally please most people. Chicken Katsu Sando is always solid and the Steak Frites baguette was top tier. Chicken ribs were a solid side, but could have used more sauce.
