WARNING You will be charged $30 a day for parking. There was no warning or signs to tell you. We got charged $90 for parking that had NO lifts. My husband has had 3 knee operations and to go to our car, we had to go to level 1 then walk up 2 &1/2 flights to access our car. NOT FAIR !!! Lifts are the slowest and our toilet was leaking. When we emailed our concerns the reply was the staff is always enduring to ensure the guest's comfort. Put up parking costs at the front desk!!! When I finished my review, I looked at other reviews and responses. As someone who has been in the hospitality industry for over 30 years - I can offer some helpful advice. To Ujen it seems you have a lot of meetings with relevant managers maybe ensure there is an action plan to ensure the constant complaints are rectified and maybe some customer service training will help negative opinions that guests seem to be writing. Tell them to keep away from watching repeats of Fawlty Towers. Stamford international must be so proud of its Adelaide site.

Obviously it’s a nice place to stay. Special shout out to the lovely girl at the front desk who went above and beyond to help my father in law. He likes to feel special and she did just that. Clearly I’m not going to name her on a public forum “L” for safety reasons but hopefully she knows who she is.

I stayed here for 11 nights. Very convenient. Across the road from the train station. Short walk into the city centre. Great rooms and the staff are amazing. The room service options are wonderful. I really enjoyed the satay. There is a small pool on the 20th floor, next to the gym. Very helpful. The pianist was very good and listening to him play in the bar in the evenings is a great way to relax. I highly recommend this place. Also the service attendants who clean the rooms are so nice. Ever so helpful and seem to enjoy their work. High standards throughout the hotel.

This bed was comfy. The staff were pleasant. That is about as much positive aspects that I can report unfortunately. I slept very poorly as the walls appear to be paper thin. My bed literally shook when next door slammed their doors. All conversations could be heard. To their credit the hotel moved me to a room not next to late night party animals. However I was then next to the service lift which whirred and shushed all night behind my headhead. Also - the lift situation. Wow. Wait for ten minutes minimum. Miss lift because already full. Repeat. Lots of drunk loud patrons about. I won’t stay here again.

Hi, I just wanted to say a big thank you to Rishi and his team at Stamford Plaza Adelaide. They did an amazing job organising and setting up my wedding reception on Feb 7th. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, and the whole team was incredibly accommodating. Would definitely recommend this place to future couples.
