A surprise find during our brief trip to Adelaide CBD. Happy hour 4-6pm followed by a massive Parmi and a pint for $25 (mon & tue). The food exceeded our expectations and we would definitely recommend anyone to come here. Service was also exceptional. Highly recommended for anyone who is hungry or looking for value for money.

This place advertises itself as a gastropub. The food is a cut above regular pub fare. My friends and I enjoyed the fresh sashimi, the pizzas, salt and pepper squid, the rice bowl, and the garlic bread and chips were really nice, too! We shared 2 serves of churros dessert between the 4 of us and it was just sweet enough to cleanse our palate of the wine and food we had. I would come back here for another great meal with friends.

Popped in for a farewell dinner for a friend. The pub itself has a nice atmosphere, good drinks menu and intriguing food options. We chose to share a few pizzas and two struck our fancy, being the PCB (pineapple, chicken, bacon) and the minted lamb. After much anticipation, the pizza's themselves were a gross dissapointment. I started with the minted lamb, which was very low on actual lamb, i would guess around a teaspoon of meat per slice. There was no hint of mint unless eaten with a mint leaf, and even that barely came to the front of the other flavours. Overall, too many small competing flavours blending into complete blandness. Cannot recommend this one. The chicken wasn't much better. A number of flavours blending into bland, nothing standing out making itself known. The crusts were actually my favourite part as I enjoy a crunchy crust, but don't rate the pizza's at all. Starters of chips and wedges were usual pub fare, however the chickpea dip was fabulous, I suspect the roast the chickpeas giving it a smooth deep flavour. Sad to say that was my favourite of the night.

Just what you expect from a pub really, ordered a couple of classics. Steak cooked well, and gave us extra steak so it weighed the 300grams. Have never seen any pub do this ever! Parmi was good, sauce was a bit sweet for me and the chicken was a bit thick but it was still good as.

First time to Adelaide and this pub did not disappoint. Firstly the service was great. One girl managing the restaurant service and nothing was any trouble and she was so courteous and kind. A real valuable asset to this restaurant. Honestly the best meal I have had for a long time and easily comparable to a fancy restaurant meal. My husband ordered the steak with mash and pepper sauce (received two steaks to make the 300gms - amazed at this) and I ordered the Sicilian pizza (devine). The pepper sauce was best I have ever had. We shared both meals as I immediately had food envy. Our daughter had a kids meal (Calamari - only $10) including a drink and ice cream. Calamari was soft and melted in your mouth. Chips were amazing, crispy and not oily at all. Yes we ordered dessert because we had to see how good it was if the rest of the food is that good. Loved our Churros and brownie (although brownie was a little too much for all 3 of us - very sweet). The highlight was walking out to see Jazz night in full swing in the front bar area with couples dancing to jazz music. What a fantastic experience overall - so hard to find the jackpot of great food service and ambience these days.
