A surprise find during our brief trip to Adelaide CBD. Happy hour 4-6pm followed by a massive Parmi and a pint for $25 (mon & tue). The food exceeded our expectations and we would definitely recommend anyone to come here. Service was also exceptional. Highly recommended for anyone who is hungry or looking for value for money.

Stopped by late afternoon to rest my feet. Amazing staff, some good conversation with patrons and enjoyed a good selection of local beers. Don’t let the “hotel” in the name fool you. They don’t have rooms. This is a pub with a great atmosphere for the solo traveler but also groups to gather.

Fun restaurant with a comprehensive menu, 12 beers on tap, and both indoor and outdoor spaces that can accommodate large groups. Staff went the extra mile to help us celebrate a birthday in style. 🙂

Very busy vibrant pub. Service was good. Food was mostly good. Unfortunately my main meal of Gnocchi was burnt and tastes of Grease. Apart from that it was a pleasent meal .

Popped in for a farewell dinner for a friend. The pub itself has a nice atmosphere, good drinks menu and intriguing food options. We chose to share a few pizzas and two struck our fancy, being the PCB (pineapple, chicken, bacon) and the minted lamb. After much anticipation, the pizza's themselves were a gross dissapointment. I started with the minted lamb, which was very low on actual lamb, i would guess around a teaspoon of meat per slice. There was no hint of mint unless eaten with a mint leaf, and even that barely came to the front of the other flavours. Overall, too many small competing flavours blending into complete blandness. Cannot recommend this one. The chicken wasn't much better. A number of flavours blending into bland, nothing standing out making itself known. The crusts were actually my favourite part as I enjoy a crunchy crust, but don't rate the pizza's at all. Starters of chips and wedges were usual pub fare, however the chickpea dip was fabulous, I suspect the roast the chickpeas giving it a smooth deep flavour. Sad to say that was my favourite of the night.
