Reviews for Bribie Island Hotel

Huge area for dining inside and outside. Food was good. So was the service. I didn't have to wait very long at all. The outdoor area is delightful. Lots of little lights, and umbrellas, tables, and chairs. The whole area is fenced off so the kiddies are safe. A great pub for families.

$184 for night accommodation for a tiny room. No thanks, found alternative motel on Bribie for $140 and a bigger room over looking the passage. However 4 of us decided to eat at the hotel. Well that was also a major disappointment. The spaghetti bol was dried out, the roast of the day was also dry, the roast potatoes were boiled and thrown in a airfryer to make them look like roasted potatoes.. Yuk I ordered a salad which was reasonable and hubby said his salt and pepper sqid was the texture of old boots. $17 for a scotch and Coke. I noticed a lot of patrons left large amounts of food on there plates telling me many were also disgusted with quality of the food. Never again.. Be warned.. Don't waste your money

A disappointing experience. Went to the bistro for lunch after coming up from Brisbane for the day. Ordered medium rare fillet steak and a beef burger. The steak was more blue than medium rare. In contrast the burger was practically cremated. Accompanied salad looked old and sad. Considering that the place was empty when we arrived and the price paid (about$94 for 2 drinks and 2 meals), it could have been better.

Bistro is huge with large outdoor dining areas, extensive menu options including seniors option. We had Fish chips salad and Chicken parmigiana chips & salad, both excellent, staff were friendly particularly Jay. Mens toilet a little average but bistro was very clean.

My wife and I had lunch today, and while the staff were lovely, the food was awful. Chicken parmy was under the broiler for ages and so dry I couldn't eat it (salad nice but chips dohey ). My wife had some of her pizza and it was just OK. At the prices you charge for food and drinks, you really need to lift your game; In fact it was bloody awful . If you've got a professional chef there, then he needs to check what he's sending out. ( I absolutely guarantee that he wouldn't eat it )
