Love the atmosphere in the sports bar, never a bad experience when Hope is behind the bar. Always great and polite service from her. Went there for state of origin and the service was great. So far best pub ive been to for that.

First time here . Lovely friendly bar staff. Parmigiana A1 . Steak salad and chips amazing. Peaceful atmosphere. A really enjoyable place to go . Highly recommend. I WILL be back there soon. Do yourself a favour and just go. Prices were fantastic.

Ordered a steak medium, came out well done. We cut into it and it was well over cooked, A very well done steak. Sent it back and out came a shriveled up thin as paper well done steak. We again sent it back and the chef stated we asked for it to be cooked more - This was incorrect and we explained that. The chef said bluntly he would make another one. We decided it would be easier for everyone to ask for a refund. We were then treated horribly, Completely cut off by staff, had our money thrown which scattered onto the counter. This was a horrible experience at this restaurant and we would not recommend to anyone. What a disappointment it was to go out of our way during our short visit to brisbane. Only positive here was one of the staff members who was genuinely apologetic of our experience. Do not go here.

Fabulous venue. Food was delicious and generous servings. Nicole organised everything for us and everything ran smoothly. Adam, Adam and Layla looked after us on the night and were amazing. Would definitely recommend and we will be using the function room again!

I will never stay in the accommodation as long as I live. The room smelt like 3 week old wet socks and I had to purchase air spray to spray the room. There was only 1 roll of toilet paper in the room with no spares for my 4 night stay. As I was leaving early on my check out day i was instructed to leave the key in the room, which I did. I then received an additional unauthorised charge to my credit card of $100 for not handing back the key. When I enquired the charge the not so helpful receptionist said it was my fault and didn’t offer a refund even know I followed the instructions I was told. The receptionist said I must have spoken to their call centre and they didn’t know their site procedures. I spoke with the receptionist once again to voice my concerns about the key charge and requested her supervisors number which wasn’t forthcoming. She said that she would pass on my details for the supervisor to call me, to this date I have not been contacted. I have been doing fly in fly out all over Australia for the past 15 years, stayed in some undesirable places and have never experienced anything like this place. I am now staying at a place 2 klms from the Browns Plains Hotel and right from the get go the experience has been wonderful and for the next 20 weeks they will receive my business. On a positive note, I ate at the hotel’s restaurant the nights I stayed and the meals were great and the pub staff were friendly, pitty I couldn’t say the same for the accommodation part of their business.
