So for a relax christmas event we booked The Laneways and Causeway bar - having the small outside bit to the Side was perfect for our company which was perfect for our event size (60 people) . Alex and the team did their very best to make sure everyone enjoyed the event. If anything I think maybe we were very eager to celebrate at the start and the one bar man was a bit over run as we all went for cocktails! Later on another bar person came on to help. All the food was sent as planned we ordered lots of platters and everyone enjoyed it. The atmosphere was good, as we had the space people could talk to each other and if they wanted to dance they could go join in the main bar area. If you a looking for just a chilled friendly get together having the little bar and the area works out very well.

Good vibe, good food. I had the $17 Pizza special on Wednesday. Surprisingly very tasty! Will come back again for the vibe and food.

Love this place! The manager Chris is a dead set legend, friendly, helpful and respectful and most importantly, likes his job so naturally he’s good at it. Love to come here often! Food here is very good too and priced competitively as are the drinks, happy hour daily from 4-6pm is so good after work. Atmosphere outside is brilliant especially if you love to people watch as it’s right on Brunswick mall. Perfect spot!

Booked a 7pm reservation for dinner on Saturday 11th, one in a wheelchair and requested an outside table. No chance and luckily due to a concert in the mall, we were better off inside anyway on this occasion. Music inside was so loud that you had to yell to converse, I'm not sure why that is a prerequisite for an Irish themed pub, serving food / drinks? In a 'nightclub' high decibels are expected!!! As a disabled Australian, it is often very difficult to traverse within a busy establishment, your staff were helpful in getting me a drink on a couple of occasions (appreciated). The QR code for ordering proved difficult, with poor internet reception at the back of your establishment, so my only option was to order at the bar, while yelling to the server. I ordered the chips with 'proper' gravy as a starter for my friend and I, great although the gravy would be outstanding if it was a little thicker. When I ordered I asked that the Steak s/w with bacon, and the Beef & Guinness pie come out together. The chips & gravy and the Steak s/w came together, while I waited 20 mins for my pie. Obviously your Cook, needs to learn some time management skills. Would have been awesome to have a nice Irish stew on the menu, wasn't as Irish themed as the name and decor suggests! All in all, the food was great, the drinks were cold, the staff were attentive, we'll be back...
