Very small room, size of a cupboard really- paid more than my friend and her room was much bigger and nicer. Bed tipped up when you sat on the edge, tv remote wasn’t paired with the tv so couldn’t watch tv, no exhaust fan in bathroom . Only had green tea and international roast options for hot drink in the room . I needed the location to be glide to my event, I will never stay here again though

This place was a little deceiving at first. Entrance looked more like a hostel and the carpark was a little daunting to get into (very tight turns). But the room, although small was sufficient, clean and tidy and looked recently renovated. Comfortable bed with quality linens and all the basics needed for a one night stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

The location was great, but everything else was sub par. One of the towels in our room was torn on one side. The blanket had stains on it. The water in the shower trickled down with very low pressure. They had a minimal housekeeping policy, which I'm actually a fan of, however they did not even provide clean mugs for subsequent days. I wouldn't use a day old mug in my house, so why would I on holiday? If they would have provided a small amount of dish soap I could have at least cleaned them myself. Overall, the price is too high for the low quality stay. Really the only thing going well is the location itself.

I absolutely loved this hotel. The service was friendly, the bed was super soft with 4 pillows (and a spare in the wardrobe!) and the towels and linen were good quality. There are two lifts for a building that isn't really that big! There is a small cafe on the ground floor, but for the budget conscious there is a 7-11 and Woolworths Metro reasonably close. It is ideally situated and I enjoyed the easy proximity to the Brisbane City Hall and its nightly Christmas entertainment. 24hr reception is very reassuring, though I didn't need it. The air con has wall controls and does the job well, but there is no way of adjusting the fan speed (just temperature) and was a bit noisy, so I just chilled the room to cold, then switched it off, sleeping comfortably through the night. I was incredibly impressed they had a toothbrush and toothpaste kit as well as a stocked bar fridge with quite reasonably priced snacks. I was travelling solo, so was not bothered by the size of the Double Room (17 sq) and as long as the bed is comfortable, the air con is blaring and the fridge is cold am usually happy! I would recommend though for couples you get a larger room.
