Stopped here to meet friends for an early morning coffee. We arrived just after opening so basically had the place to our selves. Green Beacon is one of a number of similar urban brewers that have sprung up around Brissy in the last decade. They follow a pattern, large brew house with bar, servery, indoor seating and if room allows, an outdoor terrace. Early in the morning it is a coffee shop, which also works well. Good service, and nice coffee. For those with dogs, there is a footpath seating area with dog bowl. I arrived on a scooter, no problem leaving that at the handy bike stand outside the entry. A lot of people are probably walk ups, for others there are bus stops on Skyring Terrace, and the Teneriffe Ferry Terminal a short walk away. Being Newstead, vehicle parking can be an issue, especially later in the day.

My girlfriend and I went a few days ago and the place was fantastic. We wanted to try some beers and loved that they offered tasting sizes so we could try different ones. Everything was great, but the real standout was the burger – honestly one of the best we’ve ever had!

When your barista goes above and beyond the standard heart or fern on your morning cappuccino. Thanks Claire Highly recommend this joint for quality coffee. The whole team are so friendly. But secretly I only come to see all the dogs parked outside. Makes my day.

Juicy short ribs, refreshing beer, and apple salad was a great combo. Excellent service really upbeat staff and we received our food fast. Would recommend BBQ brisket loaded fries, short ribs, and calamari. Plenty of tasty gluten free options. Everything was awesome!! Cool environment. Would definitely come again.

Recently went to this wonderful brew pub in Teneriffe called Green Beacon. The beers and food were on point. Was served by a cheery young lady called Simone, who helped us navigate through the large selection of beers, to find what we were after. Great experience and would go back!
