I am really impressed with my stay at this hotel. From the excellent staff from the lobby workers to the cleaners everything was done above board. The room I stayed in had the most amazing views. The location of the hotel also made it possible for me to move around in the city with ease. Thank you for an incredible 3 days. I will definitely be back!

Location is very practical, very near to Queen Street mall, office region, and South Bank is also just a 10 minute walk away. Of course, being a big city and such a central location there's plenty going on in the surrounding streets and all sorts of characters. Room was small, but neat and tidy with everything that I needed and expected. I believe the pricing was fair for my stay. During both check-in and check-out - staff was very helpful. I arrived early and they took care of my bag and also asked to be given a little extra time for check-out which was great as I had an early meeting and could then come back to the room prior to having to leave.

I’ve stayed at the Ibis Styles Brisbane Elizabeth Street a lot in the past six months, and overall, it’s a hotel I genuinely like. For example, the location is excellent. You’re right in the CBD and within easy walking distance of just about everything i.e., restaurants, the river, South Bank, shopping, and transport. For convenience alone it’s hard to beat. The service is generally friendly and reliable, and I’ve never had a stay that was genuinely “bad”. That said, the overall experience tends to land in the “perfectly fine but a bit meh” category. Nothing is materially wrong, but nothing really stands out either. One recurring frustration is the check-in process for Accor status members. As a long-time Accor member, recognition of the benefits (such as free breakfast) has been inconsistent at best. It shouldn’t be a complicated process, yet across multiple stays it has regularly required clarification or follow-up – even after repeated attempts to add the booking to the Accor App. When you travel and stay with the same brand frequently, those small loyalty “things” make a huge difference. One genuine issue with the Ibis Styles is the in-room entertainment setup – it’s ridiculously dated, like circa 1986. It is genuinely surprising that, in 2026 where technology is inexpensive and widely accessible, that the TVs don’t support streaming or casting from personal devices. It’s a small feature but one that makes a noticeable difference when travelling for work and spending evenings in the room. The restaurant is “okay”, but I wouldn’t rely on it for several days in a row. The menu is limited and doesn’t change much. Fortunately, the hotel’s central location means you’re surrounded by excellent food options within a few minutes’ walk and they’re generally a better choice if you’re staying more than a night or two. Overall, the Ibis Styles is a dependable, well-located hotel with satisfactory service, but a few operational and technology upgrades would noticeably improve the experience especially for frequent Accor guests.

Not a large room, but it had all the essentials. It was called a superior Queen room with a city view and cost was $190 AUD for the night. The room was very bright in the morning and needs properly fitted/closing curtains - the curtain was kind of hanging off the corner on one side & there was no attempt at block out, so I couldn't sleep past 5.45am. Picture below shows curtains around 6am (Queensland summer). 9/10 clean room - though the kettle looked scaley so I didn't use it. Comfy bed, nice and clean sheets and mattress. The room actually had a safe (which the last two hotels in Brissy I stayed in did not!) which was very appreciated. Physical info on how to access wifi etc would be useful but it was all on the TV. Really central, super close to every shop imaginable, a movie theatre, and the casino is close by. We ate at "Jimmy's on The Mall" a 5 minute meander, and it was great. An easy ten minute walk back to Central Station even pulling a fairly heavy bag behind me. Hotel staff were very friendly, the hotel seemed fresh and had a nice vibe, and had been kept well since I last visited about 7 years ago. I didn't use the hotel restaurant but it was nice enough on my last visit. Pet peeve - I do wish hotels would stop cost cutting (and yeah that's what it is, no excuses please) with those big bottles of refillable soap etc. It means I always have to bring my own as you've no idea what's in those bottles 😭 Seeing those refillable bottles always disappoints, but sadly a lot do it. Overall a pleasant stay, except for the 530am sunshine :)

I was really impressed with the service here. We were allowed an early check in. The rooms were immaculate, clean and comfortable. Housekeeping do an excellent job. Breakfast was delicious. The layout and food choices were great. The location was perfect and very close to the Queen St Mall. Views were spectacular, especially the rooms overlooking the river. I cannot fault this hotel and I Thank all staff involved for making my short stay, comfortable, relaxing and stress free.
