The steak and chips were both lovely. This was the second time I’ve been invited to my friend’s kid’s party, and both times have been great. It was extremely hot this time and the weather was pretty unbearable, but the hotel made sure there was ice-cold water available for everyone, which helped heaps.

I have had several meals at the Newnham since they’ve done their renovations last year. Great spot to take the kids for dinner as they have an outdoor play area. Bar service is very friendly and a big thumbs up to Honey who served us on the night.10/10

First time here in over a decade and it's a different place to what I remember. Looks pretty decent inside though it had fewer people in the bistro than I expected based on the number of cars in the carpark. Maybe they were all at the pokies. The bistro being fairly quiet on a weekday lunch. No staff greeted me or acknowledged my presence so I helped myself to a menu and took a seat. Ordered online so the only real interaction I had with anyone was when the food was served. With the average price of mains nudging $30 the food here was a bit pricier than I expected, but I'm not a regular at pub style venues so perhaps this is the norm now. My barramundi was $33 and came with a fair amount of roasted kipfler potatoes, a small serve of sauteed spinach, gremolata, and deep fried capers. I couldn't see or taste any gremolata, and think the spinach vs kipfler ratio should be more even. But otherwise the dish had nice flavours accentuated by the fried capers.

My family and I came in for dinner. And what a beautiful place. Service was amazing, The food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. They were accommodating to our needs as our booking was originally made for 20 people, which turned into 30. The added bonus of having a playground close to the restaurant meant that our children had somewhere to burn off energy. The kids menu was awesome with a wide variety of things that all my grandchildren enjoyed. Overall, it was wonderful dining experience. Will definitely be back.

It’s a big place to go and with plenty tables. The staff is so warm and friendly, the service is amazing. Today is my kid birthday and we went there to celebrate but I forget to bring cake. The staff is so nice, Vinnie gave kid birthday card with $10 vouch. We used it for ice cream cake. Vinnie and Meg brought the ice cream cake with plate and candle, took photo for us and make sure we are happy. The kids were very happy to play in the playground and parents capsule enjoy dinner. We have a great night.
