Reviews for The Point Brisbane

Booked a 3 night stay in the balcony suite at Point Hotel on Christmas period for our first visit to Brisbane. It was great. Room was a bit old but very clean. The view from our room was stunning looking at the Kangaroo Point Bridge and Story Bridge. Walking distance to a ferry terminal and we had some lovely walks to the City and Southbank as well. Unfortunately we didn't have the time to try the pool. They had dedicated room in the basement for guest self laundry and a microwave. We left something important in the room after checking out and just realised it after we went through a 2 hour traffic to Sunshine Coast on our way home to the North. A short call with the receptionist, Tahlia settled everything. The item got express-shipped to our address without any hassle. Thank you. Really appreciate it!

Had a lovely one night stay, to break our journey home. We enjoyed the amazing comfortable bed, the deep tub and the quiet and cool room. Laundry and the pool were an added bonus, and the car parking was so convenient. Being able to checkout at noon was so much appreciated.. All staff were friendly and efficient, shout out to the guy who checked us in, didn't get his name. We look forward to coming again!

We loved this hotel. 19 of us stayed over the King's birthday weekend and had a great time. The staff couldn't be faulted The rooms and bathrooms were spotless. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool area and it was great having the ground floor cafe/bar. My room needed refurbishment but others enjoyed renovated apartments. The service was excellent and we had a great time enjoying a catered function on the rooftop. We found the location not suited to our requirements as we had to use the crossriver Kitty cat to Sydney St in order to catch the larger river ferry. On the Saturday evening this ferry was full full and we ended up having to walk to our evening venue closer to South Bank.

Definitely not the experience I thought I was getting when I looked the place up the first time. When I first walked into the room it smelled like cat pee, there was damage to the doors and walls, and the bathroom looked worse than something you’d see in a military barracks. I asked for an upgrade and they moved me to the room next door, which was identical but at least didn’t have the same issues as the first room. If you’re staying here for a trip to Brisbane then be prepared to either drive or Uber. Credit where credit is due though, the view from the rooftop restaurant was amazing, the food was good, and I was particularly fond of the coffee. Also in their defense they are undergoing renovations at the time of this review so that might’ve affected the experience but right now I can’t recommend this place.

We recently covered a 60th birthday celebration at the venue, and the experience was exceptional. The location at "The Point" was a great place for photography, the catering was superb, and the staff were incredibly helpful and professional. This venue is perfect for small gatherings; a group size of up to 40 people felt like a good number. I highly recommend the rooftop bar and the enterprise room without hesitation.
