Great view, but everything seems to gave changed over the past several months. New staff, new (but less impressive) menu, new process for ordering (used to be friendly and efficient table service, now it's ordering at the counter). On several different visits, the food we ordered wasn't available (they'd 'run out', before midday). It was even hard to get a piece of toast! And now they close at 2pm. I'll get my views elsewhere.

Had a great experience, the staff were friendly and the spaghetti marinara was amazing for lunch. Highly recommended.

Between the service and the quality of the coffee, I couldn’t decide what was better! I loved coming here and will make an effort to do so again. Thank you to the lovely staff for all the hard work.

We ordered coffees as soon as we arrived, but they didn’t show up until after our meals were served—despite the restaurant being only a quarter full. When we asked about the delay, there was no apology - just a curt and short “they’re on their way.” When the coffees finally arrived, they were undrinkable. The flavor was burnt, the foam overly airy, and worst of all, they were cold. We also ordered the pistachio croissant, which for $8 tasted like a store-bought Coles croissant with a spoonful of pistachio spread and a few stale nuts sprinkled on top. It, too, was served after the coffee - even though it required zero prep. Again, no apology, no acknowledgment. That said, the frika egg was genuinely delicious, and the smashed avo dish was well done. The setting is lovely, with a beautiful view of the lake. It’s just a shame the service couldn’t match the quality of the food or the location.

A busy venue for lunch after only being open for less than 3 weeks. Still some teething issues - no liquor licence - it was a week or so away. Interesting that there was no fridge to cool drinks, and ice was being used to cool drinks. Small menu with appetising options. The menu was a bit unclear about what was on offer, so between new staff and first time diners the meal delivered was slightly different from expectations. Still very enjoyable. The 4 of us enjoyed our first visit and will definitely be back.
