We stayed for two nights. The breakfast was very disappointing — there was not much variety, and the quality was noticeably lower compared to other places. Even the coffee was not good. As a result, we didn’t have breakfast on the second day. However, we had lunch at the restaurant across from the bar, and all the food was delicious. The staff there were also very friendly and attentive. This is a great resort for families — it’s a good place to stay, swim, and play golf, and the location is excellent. Overall, it’s a lovely resort, but the rooms are now very outdated. The fridge in the three-bedroom apartment was far too small, the dining table only seated four people, and the sofa felt damp and as though it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. One of the balcony doors would not open due to a broken lock. When we turned on the air conditioning, water dripped from the second-floor ceiling and near the bathroom area. The entire room felt humid and had an unpleasant smell. Some of the dining chairs were broken and not even usable. A staff member came to inspect them and replaced four chairs. Although the front desk staff were polite, we were told the resort was fully booked and that no other rooms were available. However, the rooms around ours appeared to be empty. The replacement chairs were even brought from two rooms across the hall, which suggested that other rooms were in fact vacant. I am an Accor Platinum member, and not only was there no room upgrade offered, but I also don’t understand why we were not moved from a problematic room when it was supposedly “fully booked.” That said, I do understand that the resort is older and maintaining a large number of rooms can be challenging. Our family did enjoy using the swimming pool and sauna. During our previous visit, the pool heating was not working and we couldn’t use it, but this time the water was warm, which was great.
Room 1605 was extremely disappointing and felt far more like a student share house than a five‑star villa. The walls were covered in scuff marks, the carpets were dirty, and the armrests were sticky, suggesting they had not been cleaned for some time. The beds were uncomfortable, consisting of two single mattresses pushed together. The television in the spare room did not work, and despite contacting reception to have it fixed, no one attended. To make matters worse, there were ants in the bathroom. We had breakfast at the club on two occasions, and on both days the buffet food was cold. We also dined at the restaurant for dinner, where the steak ordered medium was overcooked and again served cold—so cold that the butter placed on top did not even melt. We stayed on the final day of summer, yet the lagoon bar was closed, which was disappointing and did not make sense given the timing. Overall, the experience did not justify the high prices charged. Paying premium rates and receiving such a poor standard of accommodation, food, and service was extremely disappointing.
Outstanding Customer Care and Service. Each and every staff member we interacted with from senior to junior staff are to be highly commended on their Customer Care and Service. Our experience from arrival at check-in was both professional and welcoming. The staff at breakfast including the chef are to be highly commended for the most enjoyable food and service we have experienced. Our accommodation was excellent with beautiful spacious living area and amazing balcony. Onsite Facilites with multiple both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, tennis court, nearby beach, and an outstanding 18 hole golf course which I highly enjoyed. I highly recommended Pullman Magenta Shores Resort and I am conservative when it comes to recommending accommodation.
Nice comfortable apartments with 2 or 3 beds. Includes.basic amenities. Beautiful lawns for bbq. Tennis courts, large outdoor pool. Indoor heated pool with sauna and gym. Amazing.goof course.
We had a weekend away and it was so nice , unfortunately our bed was terrible and uncomfortable. When I raised it with the ladies at the desk, charlotte upgraded us to a beautiful two bedroom villa. And also gave us breakfast on the house . So customer service is second to none . Fantastic place to stay highly recommend it.
